I agree with numbers, this should not be anything new to you, 3years on site, if this is the first time anyone is reaching out I am surprised but congratulations. You can also reach out to brands you like if they are on this platform and ask for seed in exchange for diaries. Most of them are very willing. Even if they are not on this site, reach out via email and tell them about it. I have only heard of one person ever getting offered money to grow, and then mid negotiations they changed it to store credit vs cash money. so they said fuck that, getting money for growing would be nice but unless you have all the socials going "insta, facebook, youtube, snap" and engage in the community and on the socials I don't see it happening. They want advertising for the products and sales out of the investment. The best deals as of yet are lights, you can get 100's of seeds shipped to you for nothing but they have the value of pennies, however getting lights shipped to you is next level, pricey, heavy, bulky and can be OP. Medic Grow and I hammered out a deal and TBH I like the lights a lot but they are too strong for my tent, I need a controller to dim them down to 20% but still nice lights and I will make em work and continue to use them till they die or something else comes along. Wish they sent me a controller but they are all like 300 $, so pricey for a little box. Some brands will make rep account on the common side vs business. one of free the other is not, its why they do it. If you are placing the order via the main web page of the brand and useing a code or something then it sounds legit. If all you are doing is giving out your addy and they sending you seeds you can use a temp mailbox or a friends place to protect your identity but also sounds legit. I never get anything shipped to my home or use my real name. So far no problems and my buddy who I ship too just says give me some weed that you grow and ship anything to me. If anywhere they say pay first and we will credit you later don't do it. If you want more out of it try and get some store credit in exchange for the diaries. Or negotiate with them, you want more seeds at the end of it should the diary turn out ok. Lots of options.

Had a similar message a few month ago. Same deal as most breeders offer. If you was hoping to get paid for it the chances of that happening seem slim.

if it's not on the "business" side do your due diligence... even on the business side, but way less likely someone pays the fees for that type of account to cheat people, lol. Free seed, light sponsors, fertilizer sponsor and some other stuff is possible. Not too often when they pay you just to grow the weed, though i have heard of it. Would you do it anyway? then it's a good deal. If you don't want to grow the stuff they choose to send you, don't do it. that's why i stopped taking the free stuff. They only sent me what i wanted 1/2 the time and most of the free seeds are solid mid-grade quality at best. Your best hope is to find some winners and breed your own, seriously. The last 3 years the best plants in my garden have been an F1 fem seed i produced from 2 really solid plants with similar characteristics, but different family lines. the progeny is more robust and consistent and retained all the frosty goodness of both parents. The slight inconsistency of flovor is even a positive for me. The structure is incredibly consistent in them which is also a huge benefit. Start finding winners.. even in midgrade seed you run across 1 out of 10.
