Support for heavy buds

stick and string, does not matter, its not heavy anything works.I use sticks and strong for my tomatoes and they get way more weight on em.

Yeah, even some dainty ones should be able to hold enough weight. Not talking about a bowling ball or anything. The thickness may impact wither it cuts into the cuticle. e.g. cheap, thin garden wire can do that quite easily. I don't think zip ties get that thin though, eh?
