900 diodes to 300w. it's running the diodes a bit hot to lavel it "PRO".
You pay for efficacy. Efficacy = quality. Even an inefficient light that produces enough umol/s PAR will have the same yield, same results, but you pay more per photon produced. So this doeoesn't effect quality of outcome as much as cost to operate over time as well as longevity of the products.
e.g. 50,000 hours before it dims to 90% is caclulated based on a 0.2-0.25 watt/diode power. these are at 0.33w/diode. Therefore, it will dim to 90% sooner than 50,000 hours. You could load up the spec sheet for the samsung diodes on samsung.com and guesstmate based on the longivity curve given there. you can also see it goes downhill faster and faster after that point.
These are fine lights. I would not pay a premium for them. they should be mid-range price for 300w lights.
if the price is right, look into the FC-3000 light by mars. this will have high-end efficacy and better distribution of light.
if you already bought it and can't return, no worries. it's still a solid light that is going to grow great weed. make use of it.
