easy and cheap with great results - soilless with 'hydro' nutes. "Organic," as used, is a marketing term of little to no causality behind it. The real science term isn't even a great distinction. They've had to redefine it twice, i beleive. No garden can avoid inorganic molecules. CO2 is inorganic. the nutes as used inside the plant are inorganic or broken down to elements. It's a silly distinction. there are nutes that are plant-ready immediately, and there are nutes that require bacteria and other microbes to break the molecules down before they can enter the plant. when they enter the plant and used in the plant, they are essentially the same exact thing. soilless simply has fewer unknowns related to that breakdown and rate etc etc.. you know exactly what iat's getting and the rate it is getting it. make diagnosing and adjusting simpler. regardless, you can get to that place with soil grows too using "organic" nutes. it's just a steeper learning curve.

I'd honestly say growing in coco coir is easier than soil, yes there's bottled nutrients you need to mix in but a good a and b can take a plant very far by itself, you wouldn't be getting top shelf quality but you'd have your own smoke. I've just made the move to soil as I've found it much more cost effective, quality organic amendments aren't all that expensive, in comparison a bottle of dutch pro explode 1 litre can run you £80 alone, where as in the UK a brand called Dr forest sells a slow release organic grow and bloom 1 and 2, enough for a full cycle for sub £50. I'd say an organic soil grow is a bit more work intensive but much less frequently, straight water instead of mixing and ph-ing everyday but you need to keep an eye on moisture levels, too dry and the bacteria in the soil won't thrive, too wet and molds and fungus can become a problem. If you're just starting I'd say run coco coir, get a good a and b, some cal mag and a bloom booster to get into the swing of things with less margin for error, I've personally fucked up a soil grow where I was using nutrients solutions and got zero smokable yield, years ago mind But at the end of the day its personal preference mixed with a little bit of do you want to be hands off or hands on? Are you interested in the mychosphere and the soil biology or do you just want to grow easy and have less of a chance for fungus gnats to run riot. Coco coir grows slightly faster and yields slightly more id say aswell

organic can be reused and is therefore low budget if you know what youre doing and you need to control less/have fewer perimeters to worry about. In my opinion it is more beginner friendly also, as you can literally have a "water only" setup with some basic knowledge from the internet or the help of an experienced friend.
