I planted 2 crystal candy xl automatic. 1x20l airpot and 1x26l fabric pot. Same fertiliser, same light schedule same watering. Now the one in a fabric pot perfomered very frosty while the one in the airpot didn't. Trichiome on both are the same. Should I harvest simultaneously?

Airpots allow alot more air than fabrics to reach roots, meaning the medium will dry at a faster rate than fabrics. Nutrient can only uptake where moisture is present. I have personally grown 3 airpots 1 fabric and noticed undeniably the airpots dried substantially faster than fabric pots. Nutrients can only uptake where water is found. If 1 pot is drying 20,30,40% faster, the production line is halting. Mediums that regularly go from one extreme to another can cause calcium to have problems with uptake too which would effect final produxt product.

Hello mate, i see only one difference, one of them suffer a little bit more than the other, you can see the leaves more chrunchy and with a green more ligth. I think the first one soffered a pH issue so you see less trichomes on her, i don't think that the pot could do this difference. Anyway you sould choose when do the harvest looking the trichomes of each plant individually. Good lcuk and happy journey!

Genetic variation, nothing to do with what sort of pot it is growing in. Harvest when ready, not just because one is ready, judge each plant individually.

If you have the room to do it then wait a bit for the non frosty one. Get a hand held microscope and check your tricombs. If there mostly cloudy with the odd brown or amber one then your plant is ready. Also consult your breeder information as to when to harvest. It's usually about personal preference. Good luck with the harvest.

I'd also say it's not the pot causing the difference it will just be the genetic difference between the 2 plants.

Probably not the pot causing the difference. Take normal genetic diversity of 2 seeds of the same strain and multiply that by 2 for autoflowers, lol. That is more likely the cause of any difference. This assumes each was relatively healthy and happy. Relative to stage of life these seem to look fine in that regard. If the trichomes are the same and to your liking, then harvesting both at the same time is fine. You've gone this long, a few days difference is no big deal. Don't try to force a square peg through a round hole (L=D).
