White Spots on top of Leaves

I have discovered white spots on my plants. I think it is white mildew. From what I have read, the spores cannot be killed. You can only stop them a with pesticides or, if you are lucky, with a milk/water mixture, but you cannot remove them completely. What should i do?

It's not PM, looks more like dried water spots. Nothing to stress over IMO. If you ever get PM, don't bother with milk and water. Your best prevention for PM(besides environment) is going to be a foliar with elemental sulfur applied before flowering. Using this I've witnessed THICK canopies go PM free for an entire grow with just 1 treatment. The only thing I've seen work for active outbreaks is peppermint oil based fungicides, but it's only temporary and will return in a week or two.

Don't think it's wpm. Have you noticed any water drops on the leaves? Did you water shortly bevor lights off? There is a phenomenon called gutation where plants push out their juices when the pressure gets too strong. When this juice transpires, the water evaporates stuff that was dissolved in it stays their. Can you wash it or rub it off? @organoman there are pesticides for insects "insecticide" and also against fungi they are called "fungicide"

Definitely not white powdery mildew..............what it is I am not exactly sure, but if those white spots turn brown over the next few days, it might be due to a potassium deficiency. BTW mildew and/or any type of fungus can not be stopped with a pesticide...........pesticides are for insects.
