Week 2 went great but had 2 problems in the end. One problem was that the regular plant was cut a bit by accident but now it made 2 more leaves there, second problem was that the fertilizer that I use is bought from the supermarket and has NPK 10-6-6 and the first time I used it everything seemed great but after a week I used it again and one of the leaves became white and fell. Rest of the plant turned to darker green without noticing any big problem. Not sure if the fertilizer is bad or I used it too often instead of once per 2 weeks. I mixed with water and maybe some of it touched the leave while I was using it(half a teaspoon for each). I have an ionizer providing airflow inside. Will provide better photos soon. Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm a 1st grower with a medium budget.!

Question 1: Is the fertilizer I use the problem for one of the leaves dying or the scenario of me throwing a bit on it?

Hello @yungchrist59 ! Geia sou man ! I will disagree with the rest. That's not a nutrient burn. These are iron and sulfur deficiencies. Both of these deficiencies come most commonly from bad quality soil ( and your soil looks bad ) and over water. What kind of soil you use? Also what kind of fertilizer you use? If it's an organic slow release dry fertilizer it can't burn the plant despite the fact that it doesn't look burned. Week 3 was sad because I changed soil in the blue dream'matic and it had a transplant shock causing all the leaves to drop, a week after, it is back on 100%. The regular one died of the fertilizer and now I replaced it with 6-7 more xD , now I'm just waiting to see how things will go and maybe do 12/12 on the regulars to get some fast buds.

Blue dream'matic is fully recovered after the transplant shock and now is growing fast, I'm worrying that the shorter plants will have to change spot because the big one is getting all the light from them. What do you recommend me to do? Also, should I start feeding any of them?

Hello guys, should I start feeding the plants and if so what NPK values should I use? I replaced the plastic bags with plastic plates so I can collect the water and throw it. Since I added the plates though, the soil stays wet for much longer that it did, thank you!

Hey there, so 5 weeks should be enough time for the nutrients in the soil to be used up. Some people will use dry fertilizers and amendments as top dressing, and others will use bottled nutrients. But regardless of style you'll want to start adding in a micronutrient that has all your low levels of much needed trace elements. Then find the grow nutrient you like, and this could have NPK numbers like 6-4-4 like fox farm or vary a touch, but seek out the ones which have the slightly higher N. Then being an autoflower variety you may want to start at half dose or less just to check how the plant responds. Then when flowering starts coming you'll want to load up with a nutrient higher in the opposite- P and K. Such as the Tiger Bloom from FF is 2-8-4. You can find many that are extremely higher P K like open sesame which is 5-45-19. Just look out for the shift from high N to high P K and youll do fine. Happy growing ✌️

Much of the normal plants had their leaves dropped and I cutted them as well on the blue dream. I'm not sure what to do now pretty much, I already used an 1/4 of recommended dosage of the fertilizer one week ago. Is everything going well or many of the leaves burning(maybe from ph because I never used fertilizer before this) is a problem?

The blue dream had alot of leaves burnt and I don't know why! I added a 5-10-5 NPK fertilizer today because it was just soil till now. The normal plants are all flowering by their own without giving them 12/12! Is it possible the seeds I collected from medium strains I bought on the streets to be auto's? Also the lamp adjustment was done today to check if the lamp was too close and that was the reason some leaves burnt. What should I do to recover the plants and what is going on with the normal seeds?

Leaves not going really well, I need advice on watering and how to prevent the plants from dying. Also should I use a good fertilizer from atami and one for flavor now or is it too late?

I think my plants are producing buds very slow, I added some nutrients I bought from atami 2 days ago and I hope they'll work well with the plants. The big plant seems to still vegetate and the pistols it has shown are almost ready to pop white hair. Although I'm worried that this one may not be an auto. I really need some help on what to do now because I can't even tell when to start flush. Is there a chance the upper buds on the BD are ready before the low ones? If so what do I do?

The BD stayed short and I also think it produces the buds slowly. The big plant is still on veg but if not an auto like the other ones then it surely is female. How much should I water them and should I use the nutrients again? Also what lamp height(125W CLF)? Am I close to flush

Hey YungC so usually most plants will develop their flowers at different rates and speeds too. I think many things can affect this like the light placement and distance giving it higher intensity in one spot versus another. Some people such as Ed Rosenthal mentions how we occasionally have to harvest a plant in section in order to get the whole plant to mature. In answer to flushing and watering, your plants still have a lot of white pistils so I would suggest you continue feeding them, with water often the bigger a plant is the more it drinks, so i would just try to water the soil evenly and then watch for how quickly it dries and that should give you an idea to how much the plants are consuming. I wouldn't stop feeding until you see more pistils discolor and curl in and then trichromes swell and change. With the cfls they can still remain pretty close, I think 4-8 inches, if you can have many bulbs surrounding the plants that's preferable to a couple strong ones on top. I hope this helps some, good luck with the flowering and harvesting. ✌️
