Hi guys, Anyone using Home Assitant? I would like to learn about which automations you guys are using and see what you have on your dashboard to get some inspiration. Cheers!

Deffs heed his 15 amp warning. And use as thick of extension cords as you can afford. That's very important not to burn your house down. I had a hard time tracking down enough separate circuits to not overload them. If you can get a 240v circuit setup it will come in handy and make things a lot safer

Their power outlet devices are a bit scary to use with highh wattage lights. They say "15A" but they'll potentially melt if you use 80% of that 18h a day for many months. Just becareful with how much you run through any 1 of them for long periods each day. with house wiring a 15a circuit shouldn't be run over 80% (12a 1440watts) continuously. Ive seen more than one smart plug or timer rated for 15a melt while adhering to this general rule. Thisis why they call those space heaters fire hazards, lol. I melted a non-smart 15a plug timer with 1200watts. They are potentially made with same cheap parts. Either keep the watts down or spread out and keep an eye on it over time... make sure the casing is not hot AF mid-late day. it might be fine with that over a week or amonth, but 6 months? 12 months down the line? don't risk a house fire.

Hi, i use HomeAssistant, but no automations yet. I only have a dashboard showing VPD, energy consumption, temperature and humidity inside and outside of my tent. The sensors i use: * tasmota plug (or shelly plug) * bluetooth temperature and humidity sensor (Govee Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 2s) * simple esp32 dev board running esphome bluetooth proxy outside of the tent (to connect the bluetooth sensors to home assistant) Additional HA plugin (via HACS): * VPD via "HaVpdChart for Home Assistant" (i cannot post an image here 😕)

since no one answered,I dont want to speak for anyone but I'm not too sure many people are using this. I can certainly be wrong about that. i know a lot of people are using AC Infinity, mars hydro, vivosun and spider farmer controllers nowadays. I'm sure you could learn a lot by seeing the kinds of automation they have set up. but its going to depend on your situation and environment. may be a good starting point but I would dial in your setup based on your environment. I wish I could answer your question better, but I'm not even sure what kind of equipment r parameters this can control. but I would just look for what optimal cannabis conditions are and play around with it until you get something to work. I'm sure there are many ways to get similar results
