It’s all messed up. There’s a user BananaBonga the site shows them to be a newbie but when you go to their profile page for some reason it says 20+ years growing experience. I don’t get it. Plus most of the metrics on my profile page are all fucked up too. 9 diaries but 51 harvests. Makes sense. The global ranking seems just as flawed as the “like” ranking system. Go look. Diary of the month September - position 78. Shows newbie on the contest page. But then you go to their profile and two diaries but says 20 years growing experience and the girl looks like she’s 22 in the profile picture.

Why is their two Mr,Jones holding two spots 100 and 101. Glitch as its the same profile URL. Looks be organized by diary count by default, your page says your have 41 that list says you have 41, grated the harvest are still wacky n says you have 437. Maybe its on total OZ?? growdiaries.com/growers but their is also a global position on a users profile that does not match. Eg yours is #146 global. #54 on likes #102 on diaries sign up date is not important. Its always changing with new users joining and pushing everyone else back. I see top #10 in all categories, diaries, likes, signup, last login. but no ideal how global position is calculated. some average I am guessing.

I think it goes by how many diaries you have first. Then likes second. I know you are just curious but I wouldn't get to worried about rankings. you are going to have to document an entire massive pheno hunt or two to be number 1 =]
