Soil ph

true soils don't need much PH regulation. and if anything its easier to mix in some Lime to boost it up or sulpher to lower it down.

Plants auto are going to get hungry in the happy frog soil alone, but got to start out in. the ph be at the right levels i think they ph to 6.2-6.5. Ever grower should have a ph and ec meter. you should be checking the pH of your water before and after adding nutrients and adjusting to the right levels after adding all nutrients in the right order. Even if you are growing organic with not too much bottled nutrients like me its good to ph your water so things dont get out of hand

I really wouldn't worry about soil ph. Unless you use powders etc. You control the PH with solution (nutrient mix) From 6.5-6.8 you can go as low as 6.3 or as high as 7 but it's best to keep it within a tighter margin

Cheap meters will show shit results, not truth. To buy soil meter for 300-500 $ is not profitable. Always check of ph which goes in. Keep range 6.2-6.8 and you should ve good. Invest money into bluelab or apera. Buy theirs calibration liquids, calibrate monthly. Cross check them to aquarium ph kits ( chemicals wont lie, meters go bad from drops, wrong storage tems, not moisturized probe with KCL weekly and so on ) I have small range aquarium drops. It shows ph range between 6.0 to 7.0, after pen calibration i always double check reading to aqua drops. That helped me to avoid a lot of mistakes.
