Is it ok to apply little amount of seaweed every time I water the plants. Manufacturer says apply weekly. Is it okay to divide weekly dose and apply every time I water. My plant was in lots of stress. After starting to apply seaweed it seems recovering.
Better to give one full strength dose weekly rather than weak doses often.
Your plant will get the most benefit from the correct strength.
Weak doses will have a weak effect and be basically pointless.
Seaweed is fantastic, but follow the manufacturers recommendations, they spent millions on R&D and know what works best.
Dude I love liquid kelp.I don't even measure it. I'm sure my plants get way more than is recommended but. Some weeks I was giving full doses in every watering. i don't try to waste it(its not cheap), or think more=better. I just dont like measuring it and have a good idea of whats an appropriate dose from doing it a year. but I'm not sweating it if i do slightly too much i do check my ph because mine raises my ph. another brand I had lowered the ph of my solution so you should check what its doing. kelp is a little forgiving. but duming and not measuring is not good advice its just what I do and seems to work. An analogy to what oragonoman is saying is giving the improper does would be like being stranded and needing to survive off a candy bar for 4 days versus having a nice meal everyday.
