Hello guys, I saw a lot of amber trichomes on 54 days since germination plants. Strain is advertised as an 8 weeks. Most grow diaries seem to be between 9 and 10. Plants look ok but ome areas have way over 30% of amber. Should I chop now?

Looks like she is ready. Each seed is different, clones would be in same time. Harvest her ! And enjoy ! Nice girl. Some trichomes can mature quicker from mechanical damage/brush , wind can influence too. I see you tested right place, in bud. Some leaves trichomes mature faster, people do that mistake and panic, you done all right way ! Happy smoking !!!

You will know it for best I would chop her at the day she smelled the most, for the trichomes I personally would wait a few days and keep an eye on them until 20-30% are brown and the milky ones are fully hazed.

Oh yeah, lots of milky and some amber starting. and really no clear trichomes. The buds look plump and filled out. This looks like a perfect time to harvest. Nice looking buds there!

I would chop now. Thats plant looks done. Different growing styles and techniques can lead to different harvest times. Plants look good though.

You can harvest now if you would like and probably be very pleased with your results. However, I would give it one more week by the looks of it. I’m seeing quite a few clear trichomes in there as well. That extra week could really make a difference. Also, take this for what you will but breeders ALWAYS say it’s faster than in reality. They might have gotten a few to finish that fast but the conciseness is go over the breeders timeline. I hope this helps.
