Destroyed the main root whole repotting

Owopper

Hey, I ripped the big root of my outoflower when I changed the pots. I changed nothing except that I gave it a high dose of root juice and a bit of grow boost(both biobizz). Is there anything I should do and how bad is it really?

High Owopper, this really does depend a lot from strain to strain. I did have some strains that recovered completely and I did have some plants that were dramatic as a football player getting hit inside the penalty area. Haha I hope that it does recover, keep an close eye on it and if it doesn't seem to recover learn from it and start over. Do not waste time on a stunted plant! 💚

Wait and see.. usually is recommended to germinate in the final pot with autoflower and run it from start to finnish in the same pot as autoflower doesnt like to get transplantet. but wait and see what happens, the successrate is usually better with photoperiods..

Noone will answer to this, only time will show ... In rare cases she will go monster, in most - plant will be stunt and develops slow ... Root juice is good, mycorrhizae would help, i personally would not give many or strong feeding till she settles up and shows signs of grow ...

If you hit the taproot. aka the main root, it will likely stunt it. Some plants won't grow if they can lay down a good taproot. Milkweeds are one of them. I don't feel cannabis is one of them, but it does have a tendency to dictate its overall size. I have a feeling this plant will enter flower soon from the stress. But there is nothing you can do about it. Just carry on as usual and be more gentle next time. Good Luck!

As he said. Just wait. You can’t do anything really. She will get a little stressed because of the damage you did. But will recover then start to build some new roots. She will get stunted so don’t worry why she will stop the growth for a while. But she will recover and still produce some pretty nice flowers. Good luck my friend 😃🔥

If you damaged the roots, all you can do is wait. there's no secret magic product out there to heal your plant. you don't want more of anything, you want the amount that creates the happiest plant. don't overreact. Just keep it healthy. dousing with nutes or other additives may not be the best option, right now. Rethink how you pot up... find a better way or better pot. Sometimes it's the pot's fault if you can't easily loosen it up to slide out. I cut some seedling pots down the side for that exact reason. It was impossible to gently pull the plant out, otherwise. Also, the substrate sticks together better if you do it after an irrigation and not when it has dried significantly. I got new seedling pots and i think i need to do the same type of thing. I'm just going to cut out the bottom and nest it. The plant should slide out easily of any seedling pot. They are plenty sturdy enough later on to give a gentle tug.

Hello- Without pictures it is hard to say. But your plant is probably going to be fine. Hopefully, she will only suffer a little setback and won't be triggered to flower immediately.

Well good thing these plants are very resilient. I think you will be just fine as long as there was still enough of that root left intact. However, there could defiantly be a setback in growth from that. I had an outdoor plant one time literally split directly in half down the stem. I took egg carton and pulled it back together with rope and tied it back up. Thought it was a for sure dead plant because over a foot of the stem was split directly down the middle. Well, it recovered and that plant grew to over 10 feet tall. Like I said, I wouldn’t worry about it dying. But it could under perform. Hope this helps.
