That doesn't look like any root rot that I've ever encountered. Lol it looks like you're using your reservoir as a spitoon for tobacco juice. It looks like the fine fingers of your roots are still intact, that's a good sign. I'm leaning toward some type of precipitate that's developed from your nutrients. Are they old or possibly mixed improperly? I would rinse your roots off as well as you can and clean and replace the solution in your rez and see if it returns. H2O2 is a good bandaid/temporary fix for root rot but unless you want to add it daily it's not really a good long term fix. I use Hydroguard in my rez.

Checked your diary. See you're using Xpert, as am I. + I see your water temperature. You understand that to run DWC with bacteria nutrients/roots you need to keep a low water temperature preferably below 20c not. The lower even the better. That's BAD, you need to run a sterile environment mate. So, nothing with bacteria, no root stims, NADA.. Synthetic nutrients only. Get yourself a bottle of something for growing In warn water. Roots alone will set a bad water with ur temp.. I used h202 but you need to be careful as it kills bacteria. (Organic matter) so it can destroy roots. But there is other stuff u can run But you need to run a sterile system mate until you water temp is low.

no smell, no slime, no symptoms? Stained roots are possible. Go with a better brand. Jacks 5-12-26 Part A is a great base with calcium nitrate and epsom salt (buy the last two as generics, not branded and overpriced for the brand). Never worry about pH again given basic common sense environmental controls and assuming the reservoir isn't a lukewarm breeding ground for nasty shit. buy the 25lb bags and you are mixing fertilizer at 4cents per gallon. Some people spend hundreds on fertilizers per year. I spend 30/year on about a rough equivalent of 5 4x4 tents per year. LOL 6 usd per 4x4 tent with a 100day grow cycle. won't stain shit, won't drift (pH), cheap, no magic, excellent ratio out of the box with minimal adjustments needed.
