Starting beans under sf4000

Hi so I’ve recently popped a few beans that are getting a bit leggy. I’m under the spider farmer sf4000. I am at 20% power intensity and roughly 20inch away from the top on my propagator. So my question is does anyone have any recommendation on light power and distance?

my best reasonable for this is light. too weak or too far away or both... the good news is it is somewhat correctable start by correcting light, i am sf gives this information and you should follow that next prop them up so they are not spending all of their energy trying to hold themselves up. then lastly when you transplant them plant a few inches deeper and new roots will grow from the stem... good luck fellow gardener

Its not that simple as power its spectrum and LEDs aren't made for seedlings.Too much red in the LEDs will causes stretch whatever the power. The blue in my older metal halide bulbs are perfect or CFL bulbs are great for seedlings, much better than 95% of LEDs.You need some seedling lights.CFL strips lights are perfect besides lack of heat.

The plants tell you exactly what to do. you needed to amp up at the first sign of stretch. The first 24-48 horus thay may not need 'full' vege power, but will quickly demand it. No matter what the suggestions are, if you see stretch, increase light intensity and if it is stunted, reduce light intensity. Simple as that. Take some notes. local variables may make for some variation. you may find some seasonal differences, but your notes will be superior to any suggestions from that point on. I need 35-40dli withing 24 hours or i see stretch. Better to err slighty on weak side as you dial it in. Easy to add more, but if you see it stop growing, it can sometimes take time to start growinng properly after adjusting. hanging distance should be about geometry of coverage. If you can get close, it's easy to provide plenty of DLI at lower power settings. This takes a bit more trial and error but as before the growth pattern is the guide.

30 - 45 cm und 40 - 50 Prozent Lieber aber bei 25 30 prozent starten und langsam hoch Tasten 🖖

You could always follow the manufacturer's recommendations and build from there... Germination: 24" - 30" @ 50% intensity
