Stuck in seed

Seed shell is still covering plant 2. The plant didn’t seem stable, so I decided to leave it for a day or two to see if the plant grew enough that I could remove it. Is that the right corse of action? Any tips, tricks or best practices for handling this??

I would just let it go a couple more days as it should open up! It definitely looks alive! Sometimes they come up before all the germination is done! There’s a membrane inside of the seed, so I wouldn’t force it off just let it go and once you can see green gently try to pull it off! Good luck 🍀👍

I always take out this helmet with fingers, you must be very gentle and with your fingers open the shells. Good luck

Raise your humidity, should see her open up. If needs help can see the Crack in top of seed, best way is use tweezers. close them, use finger to support the seedling and let the tweezers open the shell by releasing your grip.

Had a similar problem with my fail-diary month ago. I tried to help in the same situation and damaged one of the two first leafs. i was not fatal, but ill say to leave it as it is for a day or two. it will crack itself open for sure! good luck!

Hi mate! The shell should go off by itslef and the plant will grew out of there but you can try to sprinkle some water to the shell and by this way you will moisten it up 'cos it might be too dry and hard for the weak seedling to break it through. If it still has not broken through in couple of days you can try to pinch the shell and slowly remove it, but you shouldnt worry about this if you keep the shell moist enough.
