Yes they will. I’ve had something similar happen to me when not managing EC in coco a while ago. Lost something like 75% of foliage. It will probably take longer as trichrome development is correlated to plant metabolism. If you notice in the future that they’re not getting past a certain point and the plant is starting to fade hard I would just harvest. Good luck :)

itd be helpful to see with some pictures but yes your plant will still produce and mature current trichomes even without foliage. just give them time and keep checking them until you get the desired trichome maturity

time will tell.. but if you see nothing changing for several days, chop it before it dies on the branch... or, when it stops drinking.

Hello popcornsutton, if your auto is at 6 weeks of flower and only showing cloudy trichomes, it may still have time to mature. Stress from pH and hot soil can slow things down, but as long as the plant is still alive and pushing forward, you might see amber trichomes develop with more time. Greetings from Germany.

I was basing my answer on fact you had problems resolved, if there is any risk going from bad to worse then absolutely make the chop. Good luck.

Cannabis plants use chemical and physical defenses to defend themselves against herbivores. These include cannabinoids, THC and CBD, also increasing terpene production and phenols if it thinks it's being eaten. She will be fine if anything she will prime herself against future attacks by increasing production of these defensive mechanism. How much is debatable, but every half % counts in my humble opinion. Cool and dehumidify your garden to reduce the risk of bud rot Lower the temperature and humidity to force mature cannabis flowers to harden and express new colors, give her another week or two till you ger that amber, best of luck with the harvest. No one likes unripe fruit.

It will do it, just slowly. Might be best to just chop it and call it a day if you don't want to wait, can always start a new round of plants in the down time.
