Hello guys, Quick question.. I'm at 27/28 days now with these girls i have the 100 W vivosun vs1000 at 100 % 48 cm away from the plants. How do they look ? Am i good on track? They seem to start flower early. I ordered a second vivosun vs1000. This should help some Thanks!

They look very healthy and green so you are doing something right! Autoflowers are on a countdown from day 1 this can be very unforgiving for new growers learning the trade, with photoperiod you can take as long as you want in veg until you get her cycling nicely then you release the countdown of flower. Being on the countdown from day 1 is tough adds pressure as each stage of development is dependable t on one prior. Gluck keep doing what your doing she looks healthy.

About the lighting a 100w light is not enough light to bring a 2x2 tent to flower correctly. It seems like your tent is a 4x4 or 5x5 i suggest investing in a real grow light you really need like a 800w light to grow anything decent

Honestly new growers should stay away from autos. Autos are so random and they are very unforgiving when it comes to stress. I suggest growing feminized photo period plants next time if you do grow autos next time make sure to let them grow the way the plant wants to grow when you start doing special stuff like topping autos you end up making the plant grow half as much bud as it would have

Is that a 5x5? 100w light? sammy diodes, but running them a bit hot at .41watts per diode. that's twice what they are tested at and what all the specs are based on. So, it'll underperofrm in various ways relative to specs often used... e.g. they won't last 50,000 horus until 90% intensity. It'll dim faster than that. Less efficacy = fewer umol/s/w than if they had more diodes and running at .2w/diode like samsung tests them to be used. 2.75umol/j efficacy would only be true if they used the top binning options. The SK 3000K, for example not the SJ or SL, if that is offered in the 3000K type. There are different binning codes for various CCT diodes. check out samsung.com spec sheets... you can learn a lot about how to identifiy high-end lights. Anyway... 250-275 umol/s from these lights. that's good for 3sq ft, maybe a bit more. Two of these will cover 6.5-7 sq ft with 12 hour operaiotn and 9.75-10.5sq ft over 18hours while providing "near-max" dli for ambient CO2. You want about 70-80 umol/s per sq ft to reaction upper 30's DLI with 12 hour operation. You can cover 150% more space with an 18houroperation if you grow autoflowers. That is not a suggestion. autoflowers suck, lol. But, each to their own on that choice. with autoflowers you only need 47-54 umol/s per sq ft for the same DLI as 70-80 over 12h. 80 umol/s*sq ft 12 hours and 54umol/s*sq ft you can take any lights umol/s production, divide by these numbers and that's the area it can sufficiently cover. e.g. the VS1000 is supposdely 275 umol/s (= efficacy * watts) 275 / 80 = 3.44 sq ft coverage with 12 hour operation, reflective walls, and appropriate hanging distnace for even coverage. Any light with accurate spec sheet is easy to guage. Any deviation from samsung.com testing paramaters reduces efficacy and longevity.

Hi. For this size of tent you should have at least 350w led. More power more yeld. Girls look OK but under 100w they don't get big.

Your plants look healthy, but 48 cm might be too close for the Vivosun VS1000 at 100%. Raise the light a bit to prevent stress, and gradually increase intensity as needed. Adding the second light will help with coverage, but monitor temperature and humidity to keep things in check. You're on the right track!

Theres a number of free apps to measure your light, I use PPFD METRE.I guess its an auto then.200w isn't a lot.Iv only once grown with less than 600w.I thought anything else would be worthless for many years but I recently saw something about how autos don't neednearly as much ligth as first thought. Its certainly what Iv seen.Iv been very surprised at how big some autos get with small lights.

VS1000 for flowering phase....I'd shove everything into a corner, place your light fixture for a 2x2 square from the corner, then ~30 cm out to pump what I'd consider a good light level for flowering I like these boards for what they are, the second will definitely come in handy. Are you in 3x3 or a 4x4? Either way will be a weird PAR footprint IMO. Grab the manufacturer map and do some overlaying with Excel or something if you don't have a sensor to do readings with.
