Bring all the bugs from outside into your tent is a risk I won't take again. Harder part is getting rid of what you bring in.

You could. Might bring bugs and shit into your home. I'd reference a DLI map for your region and this time of year. If a bit on low side, this will probably be a net-positive. If the sun in your region provides plenty of light, probably not worth it. hours of light is only half the equation and alone does not tell you anything. 18h of weak light may not suprpass 12 hours of strong light. Rate of photons and time of operation/day needs to be considered together. some concern: The sun is a different animal than artificial light. It might stress the plant if it is constantly trying to adapt to different light (different properties / intensity etc). This will impact density of pigment in the leaves, for example. Much easier on a plant going from outside to in, than inside to out, in general. A plant adapted to artificial light will not do well when first exposed to the sun unless it's a really low DLI region. i'd wager consitency is better here, but not certain of it.

11/10 on the absolutely not scale if you care about mitigating (honestly dumb) risks in your room; would you let your cat/dog spend the day in the jungle because it like the jungle (regardless of the impact to you) and you'd save 50 pence on your utility bill?

I’ve done it many times. You’ll probably see the plants responding well to the natural light. The main downside and why I decided not to do this, you risk bringing unwanted organisms back into your grow space. Bugs, fungus, mold etc. I think it’s better to reduce the chances and help eliminate the problem before it begins.

Only problem is pests. Once they go outside they will most likely attract pests, then when you bring them in your grow area will be plagued with the pests.

you can, its more work, and the sun is more intense so they might need a small transitioning period or hardening off.

They don't care. Nonetheless, I also like to spare some energy (not costs ;-) ) you'll have a high potential of getting pests in your tent. So, no recommendation! Also, it's more work. Also if climate changes are harsh (e.g. my diaries) you get more shocks than advantages. growdiaries.com/diaries/261449-grow-journal-by-trutratri growdiaries.com/diaries/260595-grow-journal-by-trutratri growdiaries.com/diaries/261915-grow-journal-by-trutratri growdiaries.com/diaries/260603-grow-journal-by-trutratri

Shouldn’t matter if it’s an autoflowering strain, but stability ain’t a bad thing either, plants prefer routine.
