Hey everybody. Ive got this problem with one of my girls here. She was fine then i did a dunk with 8ml Cal-Mag and 10ml bloom in 10L of water in a bucket. Now she got some brown spots and some leaves are turning yellow. The other one had the same isue but cal mag helped.

Hey Kennethy! Sounds like your girl might be reacting to either a nutrient imbalance or a slight overdose, especially after the dunk. Here’s a quick breakdown of what might be going on: Symptoms: Brown spots can point to calcium deficiency or toxicity (ironically, too much Cal-Mag can cause this). Yellowing leaves could be due to nitrogen deficiency, but it can also be a sign of lockout caused by salt buildup or pH imbalance. What might have gone wrong: 1. 8ml Cal-Mag in 10L is on the higher side if the plant wasn't asking for it. 2. Bloom nutrients often have extra P and K—combining that with Cal-Mag can push the EC too high. 3. A root dunk hits hard and fast—some plants are sensitive to that method. Suggestions: Flush gently with pH-balanced water (about 6.0–6.3) to remove excess salts. Check your runoff EC/PPM and pH if you can—super helpful in diagnosing. Let her dry out a bit and observe how new growth develops. Next feed: go lighter (maybe half-strength bloom, skip Cal-Mag once to balance).

What changed from 2 weeks ago! Blah blah opinions.

if you have to do more than simple irrigation/fertilization, it's usually an e-peen or necessary due to other unnecessary behaviour. dunking, flushing etc.. You've had nutrient issues before this, as the damage seen in these pictures does not happen overnight. Thinking the most recent behaviour is the cause is flawed. Looks low on N. The spots might be calcium related. Would need to see how it progressed to better diagnose. Leaf symptoms alone are not discrete. More than one cause is often possible for what you see. nutrition for a plant isn't about playing mad scientist. you may need some subtle shifts for vege vs bloom, but a steady amount of all nutrition during these phases is better than adding some h ere or there... Whether the soil or the fertilizer provides it, there should always be available calcium and all the other nutrients NPKCaMgS + micros. You may need less N in bloom, but that doesn't mean you eliminate it totally, for example. react to it sooner instead of letting it snowball and it'll be easier to fix. Nutrition is about the long-term... it's rarely about what you did last night or last week. How much you fed early on can impact what you need to feed much later. These are rates of provision vs rates of use over a longer period of time... you want some buildup to mitigate small hiccups, but don't let it build up too much. If the plant is clearly deficient all over (yellow all over), you obviously need to feed more. Doesn't mean all parts of nutrition were deficient but several obviously are.

Many issues, but the main ones are, massive calcium deficiency, huge phosphorous deficiency and hungry for both nitrogen and potassium too. Both plants. Both plants generally under fed too. Remember too............what is showing in the leaves now, is a direct reflection of what was happening in the root zone 2 weeks ago. The fact you "dunked" your plants and then the spots magically appeared is pure co-incidence. These issues have been manifesting for weeks already, nothing happens in a day or two...........except from burning due to a massive overdose. Yan402 is right too, without a diary, answers based on a few random pictures are never going to solve anything accurately.

Looks like a soil ph problem or nutrient burn

Ps I have a suggestion for you to avoid character limits on the Grow question section, do a screenshot of all the steps you took, that's it character limit evasion lol

Hey, since it happened right after the heavy watering with CalMag and Bloom, it's very likely that your plant is reacting to a form of salt stress or slight overfeeding. The brown spots and yellowing suggest a nutrient imbalance or root disturbance rather than a deficiency that developed slowly. She should stabilize if you water carefully with plain water for a bit and let her recover. Looks like you caught it early, so no major damage expected.

Hey bro, not trying to be rude, but this is the second time you’ve asked for help without linking a diary or full grow details. It’s really hard to give accurate advice when we don’t know your medium, feeding history, pH, EC, light intensity, or even what week of flower you're in. Pics help, but they don’t tell the whole story. The symptoms could be lockout, overfeeding, pH issues, but without a diary, it's all guesswork. Next time, drop a link to your grow or start a diary so we can actually help properly. You’ll get better answers and save yourself a lot of headaches. ✌️
