Hey man,no worries at all. I also start straight in the final pot, so you're not alone there. Fox Farm soil usually has enough juice to feed the plant for the first 3–4 weeks easy, especially if you're not overwatering or flushing it out early. I’d hold off on adding any nutrients until you see signs like lighter green new growth or a little slowdown, usually around Week 4. That’s when I start low-dose nutes, like 1/4 strength, and build up from there depending on how the plant reacts. Looks like you’re on a good track so far — just keep it simple and listen to the plant. Good luck growmie!

It's not that putting it directly in a large pot is wrong per se. It's more difficult to maintain germination conditions for a large pot than a small one, and until the plant has a rootzone big enough to fill the pot you need to make sure things remain slightly on the drier side of indoors at least untill she has a solid rootzone filling inside of that 5 gallon, normally I find 5 gallons to be quite tall when you have a tiny seedling in a 5 gal in new tent the light can quickly evaporate top couple inches through evaporation, gravity will pull water out of reach of the tiny seedling quite fast so make sure to keep an vigilant eye. Good watering practice, you wanna fully saturate the soil with a little run off. I'd suggest you buy yourself a soil EC meter, a solid one that costs 30-60 bucks. Then, just water water water until EC tells you to fertilize, then water water water. Keep range 0.5-1.8 never higher than 2

Hey there you can start with this simple regiment that is really hard to mess up also it will be extremely cheep as you will only need to have Fox farm grow big and Fox farm tiger bloom 2ml a gallon of grow big when plant is about a week old week or 2 later go to 4ml gallon then go to 10ml a gallon when plant is starting to look sturdy and established you can give 15ml a gallon When plant is going into early flower early strech do 10ml grow big 5ml tiger bloom 1 week into flower go to 10ml tiger bloom 5ml grow big then after that you can give 15ml of tiger bloom when plant is getting fat buds move to 20ml a gallon When plant is small you can give those small amounts of nutrients every time you water the 1st few times you water the plant but after you do more than 2ml a gallon start giving nutrients every other time you water I would stick to this feed schedule when you 1st start After doing a grow with this you can start to experiment with adding cal mag and a bloom booster and all the other products fox farm has Some products other than fox farm that will make your plants grow way faster and be way stronger and resistant to stress (also these products can me mixed with and integrated with any nutrient regiment without risking harm to plants [you can’t kill a plant with any of these products]) As listed 1. Xtereme gardening mycos granular (mix into soil b4 planting) 2. Great white shark mycorrhizae ( sprinkle powder on transplants and sprinkle on seeds when planting in soil ) 3. Orca mycorrhizae ( .5ml to 1ml per gallon every gallon you water with, also mix 1ml a gallon in water when you put seeds in paper towel to germ) 4. King crab bacteria use the same way as orca mycorrhizae Good luck

Since you're using FoxFarm Ocean Forest and planted straight into the final pot, you won't need to add any nutrients for the first 3–4 weeks. The soil is rich enough to carry the plant through early veg. Start feeding only once you see the lower leaves begin to lighten or around week 4 – whichever comes first. Keep it light at first when you start.

I don't use your products. With soil you generally have enough nutrition for the 1st few weeks to a month depending on the soil, eg biobizz light mix has enough for a few weeks while allmix has enough for a few more weeks. Your nutes should have a guide on amounts to use and when, I'd start around the 3rd week on the lowest dose they recommend. If your plant still looks hungry for more nutrition a few days after watering then increase the amount of Nutrients in the next feeding, if the plant starts getting burnt tips then the nutes were to strong.
