I think you have a good chance with that type of damage. Line up up the vascular tissue and tape it or otherwise hold it together. Lots of surface area to press together and the stem still provides strong structure to tape it up etc. If the foliage quickly perks back up, good chance it heals. Keep a close on on these limbs for nanners / pollen sacs for next 2-3 weeks. how quickly you were able to put it back together relative to when the damage occurs will be a factor too. i'd stick to normal fertilization/irrigation that has maintained health so far. No need to further stress it by starving it of building blocks that will be useful for the healing process. Law of conservation of mass and such.. it can't just manifest building blocks out of the ether.

Surgical tape will be your best friend in this case. I always have a roll next to my tent.

I had a split in my latest DWC and a broken branch in latest soil, both survived with little to no effect, I was expecting worse. But I performed an emergency bandaging and fixation of the wounds with a piece of rubber hose, duct tape and garden wire. Next time don't waste precious time taking pictures of the damage but rather act swiftly :) Good luck growmie

Hey Growmie, Holy Smoke is right! Sounds like you went full Hulk on a lush lady, but don’t panic, cannabis is a resilient beast. You might’ve just given her an accidental supercrop. Let’s turn this into a comeback story What to do now: Support any split or bent stems. Use plant tape, soft ties, or even duct tape. Wrap them cleanly & snug, they can heal like magic if reconnected early. Reduce stress. Lower light intensity for a couple of days. Give her some breathing room while she recovers, no feeding boosts just yet. Hold off on heavy nutes or training. Keep it gentle, water with plain pH-balanced water (if you flushed earlier, too, bonus). Watch the new growth. If she bounces back strong from the top, you're in the clear. You may even end up with a bushier, stronger plant. Bonus tip: If she’s looking like a bonsai now, treat her like one. Focus on root health, airflow, and let her rebuild that canopy like a champ. Keep your sense of humor, you’re halfway to being a plant whisperer. You’ve got this!
