Kirsten 17.3.25:
I've starred a Hulkberry auto. This was the first pack of seeds I bought! I realised it was mostly sativa, but now I'm ready to give it a go!
Made my soil mix, which I will update next week. Planted the seed into an RQS seed starter plug. Mainly to keep the seed in place when watering.
Join my journey and hang out 🌱✌️

Hulkberry 💜💚 is sprouted, and now progressing well. It was a slow start, as I did not soak the starter plug and the seed kept drying out.
I also added more perlite than usual and so when I was watering the seed, everything was moving with the perlite.
Now that we have broken soil, I did need to remove the shell as it had dried out and became stuck. It came off easily enough, and I did not cause any damage to the plant.
The extra perlite should be fine now, as we have roots to keep us in place at last, as well as the starter plug.
When I get some more coco I will top dress, as the level of the soil has lowered since it was filled due to the extra perlite.
That probably won't be soon though. It will probably coincide with the normal top dress schedule.
The super soil mix I made was approximately constituted 8 gallons of;
☆ 60% Canna Coco
☆ 30% Perlite
☆ 9% Worm castings
☆ 1% Organic dry amendments.
- Ecothrive Life Cycle
- Ecothrive Charge
- Diatomaceous Earth
- Ground Cinnamon
- RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules
- Great White Mycorrhizal Fungi blend
Thanks for hanging out 🍃 ✌️ 💚 🙂

I have not seen much development unfortunately. I definitely think the soil plug I used for germination has possibly stunted her. Due to me not soaking it properly before planting the seed.
Hopefully more to see next week!

I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients;-
♡ 4ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids
♡ .75g Ecothrive Biosys
Total PPM 880.

HULKBERRY:
She has had a very slow start thanks to my mess up on the starter plug, not being soaked sufficiently before planting.
However it was finally time for a FIM. She has recovered well overnight.
So I am hoping we are heading towards a nice growth spurt in the next few days.
Thanks for hanging out 🍃 ✌️ 💚 🙂

13.4.25:
This week has been so busy in the garden!
I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅
I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4.
I watered about 2 litres to each plant.
14.4.25:
I have been super busy with all the other harvests in the past several days, so this is a little late.
2 litres were given as I watered in a top dress, which I will add what I used here; but it was another mess up, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear 😅
Top dress:
4 gallons containing approximately:
50% Canna Terra Mix soil
25% Worm Castings
23% Perlite
2% Organic Dry Amendments, which were;
☆ Ecothrive Life Cycle
☆ Ecothrive Charge
☆ Diatomaceous Earth
☆ Ground Cinnamon
☆ RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules
I used the top dress amount for established plants for a pot size of 30L / 8 Gallons.
We have 9 tops resulting from the FIM. Starting to show some nice growth now. Let's see what's coming!
Thanks for hanging out 🍃 ✌️ 💚 🙂

Kirsten 16.4.25:
As mentioned last week I top dressed with a mix of canna terra plus dry amendments.
The soil is very waterlogged and, as a result, has started to grow some mould/mildew on the top layer.
I decided to scrape off as much mould as I could, then redress by mixing in some coco and perlite.
This should aerate the soil, and prevent the water retention becoming excessive.
23.4.25:
I hope everyone had a great 420!
HulkBerry has grown significantly since last week. She is now exceeding the perimeter of the 8 Gallon pot.
The leaves are looking good to me. It's not too dark, but still luscious in appearance.
I have barely given any water, as unfortunately I had overwatered when I top dressed.
The top dress was not my usual substrate and, unfortunately, ended up growing mould on the surface.
I removed the top soil to take away the mould. Then I replaced it with 2 Inches of Canna coco and perlite 60/40%. I did not add any amendments to this.
Nutrients; Cal-Mag amino acids and Ecothrive Biosys.
I watered 2 litres yesterday, and today, I am going to LST for the 1st time. It needs to be done ASAP now, before she begins to flower.
I'm just aiming to open her up and keep the tops at an even height.
I'm happy with this plant her structure is lovely, and uniform. Which I hope to maintain.
Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out 🍃✌️💚😊🌱
