larva chewing on roots is possible - Bti is a solution for most larva
looks quite dry, so just watering might be all that is needed.
too much light can cause this reaction too. is it new to the sun? The sun is an absolute beast for any indoor plant. They need to adapt to the intensity slowly.
Given limited info, you'll have to eliminate the possibilities.
ppl seem to struggle with basic irrigation, so just in case:
1) fully saturate -- never half ass this. never choose teh volume whimsically. You give what it takes to accomplish the task.
2) wait for appropriate dryback and repeat -- if in soil, good to wait for top 1" to dry. A substrate with lower watering holding capacity per volume needs a re-irrigation sooner if going by depth of dryness. Weight loss is something that will be consistent between both and is also a good trigger to re-irrigate.
so, if not doing that, i'd correct those behaviours first before over-reacting in other ways. Don't choose the volume of water to give nor the increment of time between irrigations. The context dictates these things and nothing else.
ignore the bro-science that says autos should go into 'final' pot. If you manage to "shock" a plant just from potting up, you should just quit gardening, lol.
