Hi I’m a new grower, and where I’m from Advanced nutrients is expensive and takes long to ship I found this alternative (in pic) but I’m unsure how to use it. Let’s say I use 1-2 mll of adv nutrients, how much of this product (in pic) should I be using IF it at all I can? Help!

Hi there latebloomer77. Almost all fertilizers will provide instructions on the bottle on how many ml of fertilizer per liter of water to blend so the mixture delivers the NPK (Nitrogen - Phosphorus - Potassium) ratio (when you look at the fertilizer bottle you will see this ratio, like the grow bottle for the product you found is 24-0-0, which means it delivers 24% nitrogen, 0% phosphorus, and 0% potassium per weight) that will help your plant grow instead of killing it. It looks like on their website (if I am looking at the same product), they are recommending 2ml from each bottle to be mixed with 1 liter of water. I would recommend following those instructions unless you want to do some research to understand how many ppm (parts per million) of each nutrient is optimal. However, I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t try those nutrients (or others). This is an interesting article about considering the cost of your fertilizer, and this guy happens to be one of my favorites for understanding how to grow plants better: https://www.gardenmyths.com/are-you-paying-too-much-for-fertilizer/ Hope this helps, and happy growing!

There are plenty of other alternatives to Advanced Nutrients...........hydroponic nutrients may not be the best choice for soil or coco coir grows. Look for "one part" nutrients like B.A.C. ot Terra Aquatica............super simple with no mixing, just one bottle for grow and one bottle for flower. I am sure the manufacturers' website has all the infomation you need if you decide to use this brand of nutrient.

Fill 2 jug with 1000ml of distilled water. One jug add recommended dosage of advanced nute. Measure ppms of solution. Other jug add the other nutrients, very slowly add and mix until you reach the same ppm. This will be your new measure. Electrical conductivity (EC) and parts per million (PPM) are both measures of dissolved salts in a solution, and they can be used to assess the nutrient levels available in soil or water.

Hey 👋 I am doing acceptable with BioBizz. There is a starter kit on Amazon, which costs less than 20 Euro for Grow, Bloom & Booster (TopMax). In addition you need CalMag, especially for growing under LED lights. So your total should be around 30 Euros, and you can reach good results. I feed acc. To their scheme, and had no issues yet.

can use algebra to figure out dosage to give a similar weighted average of NPK et al.. or, there are free apps that calculate / tabulate elemental ppm. could type in your AN products, calculate, then use those as targets for your new products. Some can cacluate dosing to hit those targets etc... or you type in a few dose variations until it is close enough. "hydro" nutes are 100% soluble and 100% plant-available. One is not reallly superior to another. They are made with a fairly small pool of ingredients even if some variation does exist. I would not expect different resutls if feeding similar ratios and concentrations. Buy the cheaper nutes that provide a well-balanced diet, whichever they are. Brand is irrelevant when dealing with mostly commodities. i'd also suggest using appropriately sized pots for tiny seedlings. your rootzone will thank you. It's an absurdity to believe potting up will shock a plant. You'd have to use some sort of GI joe kung fu grip on it and smash up the rootball while you do it, lol... easily avoidable.
