Put a plant in the ground last week after 13 weeks veg indoors. Now it looks like it’s starting to flower (pics attached).Should I ride it out or use supplemental light? Appreciate any thoughts—thanks! Photoperiod plants. Zone 10a

You got some strong set ups for flowers! What is the optimal lenght of vegetation is something to consider as well. I think each cultivar has different lenght periods of "puberty". Your is ready for to move on, that's for sure 😂✌️💚

preflowers form at nodes. This is just a sign of sexual maturity. it will only go into flower if you gave it a long dark cycle or your sunrise/sunsets results in a long dark cycle (10+ hours, its variable as to what will cause one plant or another to flower, this is why 12h is used to cover the variety)

If she has started floral hormone change then it's all about how quickly you catch it, certainly not recommended to revert her back to veg if she has initiated the switch, I don't see it just yet though, those just look like stipula and not pre flower to me at least. Gluck.

Looks more like preflower to tbh... (like the plant just showing its sex) But check how many light hours your day gets where you live anyway. Norther Hemi's Outdoor Season is about to start so having them flower now is unlikely

I would add some supplemental lighting. Going from indoors with what i assume atleast 18 hours of light to evem 16 hours of light can trigger a small reaction. but this early im assuming the light schedule is even less outdoors right now. The main issue is that she wont have enough time to flower vecause the light schedule is gradually increasing outdoors right now. So in a month or so or even now in general because shes started producing flowering hormones, she will probably reveg a little bit. Luckily its early enough that she should grow out and be fine. but you may have lost a month of veg time. if youre going to veg a plant indoors for awhile before going outdoors, make sure you put the plant out at peak lighting time. preferably after juneteenth i believe it is and maybe start vegging her with 16 hours before that indoors so that shes not dramatically decreased with the light schedule when put outdoors. best of luck and i hope this
