My plant is twisting itself..

Woke up this morning to find my plant dancing to "Twist Again". Is this due to airflow setup inside the tent? Perhaps the lighting's intensity? The Diary at hand is my DPGC2025 - (PSYCHE!) - OB3 if you're interested in knowing what led up to this 😅

The amount the internode will stretch depends on a couple factors. Ofc we have baseline genetics, then you have turgor pressure which is responsible for cell elongation, higher the Raye of transpirstion the higher the pressure, the more the cells will be able to elongate. This is kinda coupled with light intensity, as generally speaking the higher the intensity of light the shorter the internodal spacing. Plant is getting alot done In one cycle, just kinda happens to be stretchy. Purple stem is not a problem unless it stays purple, then your looking at very slight phosphorous delay. Normally just means medium could do with lil more oxygen though I find. Stem is lanky but she looks strong and well reinforced. I'd just keep on keeping on! If you know your temps to be high and humidity low try balance that out a little. If your transpirstion is high make sure thay pot has water at all times.

Hey Growmie, defoliating autos can be worth it, especially if they're already bushy and deep into stretch like yours at week 5, but you gotta go easy since they don’t bounce back like photoperiods. It’s best to take only what’s needed, like big fan leaves that are blocking light to bud sites, anything touching the soil, or those inner leaves that won’t get any light and will just yellow out later. I’d say remove no more than 10 to 15 percent of the foliage, and you can spread that over a couple of days if you're unsure. Always try to tuck before you pluck, but if leaves are crowding things, clearing them can help airflow and light reach those lower buds.

Light intensity. You've got purple stems on top closest to light, leaves edges curling up, and leaves praying hard. Those are pretty common with too much light. Just my thoughts, Best of Luck. Happy Growing!
