I bought this 100w lamp.. Around the leds is a thin blue metal after 1 hour using is very very hot what can i do? I use together with this a Carbon Filter... Is it enough for the lamp?

yeap u can remove the blue stickers ! and becare with this reflector because he was really cheap and this efficense was really not good but u can use it on complementary

The blue may also be a protective coating for shipping... See if it peels off that will help cool it down also... I don't know if you have old computer parts kicking around but some of the heat sinks for Cpus would proably do a great job with that light if you could figure a way to mount em.

With any electronics there is a motto of the "cooler the better". So I'd recommend getting a clip on cheap little fan and just pointing it right at the light. The power draw on most tiny fans is minimal and your light will run cooler and last longer. That's a cute little light by the way.

The blue stickers can be removed , it could help. I have a mars hydro why that kind of reflector and it's better to never touch it , the same for the hps , reflectors are getting hot removing it could low the light reflection and maybe it have a heat sink fonction ?!

The LED must be over driven. You could try pointing a fan to the metal part

Get a small fan blowing directly at the lamp should help cool it.
