GrowCNanswered grow question 2 years ago Do not get a Pletier type, which are the smallest and least expensive. Their performance drops as the humidity lowers and can struggle to get below 60% humidity. The box may claim how much water they can remove each day or some super low humidity they can obtain but they can't achieve that in the real world. Purchase a compressor model. They are larger and more expensive... but they work. Of course all this goes out the window if you run an exhaust fan in your tent. Then your exhaust fan will be fighting with your dehumidifier and you really will want a compressor model since your fan will be continuously drawing in humid air.
