I'm growing Green Gelato Auto from RQS, this is the first day and it's hot outside (31ºC). I don't know if I'm watering too much or too little. I spray with water 10 times but it dries up after a few hours. Should I water it more?

well, in a pot that's way too large for the plant, it is a pain in the ass to water properly. too much keeps it wet too long, and too little will just train shitty superficial roots. Use appropriately sized pots in future to avoid this unnecessary difficulty. water a small cicle around the plant - probably just wider than the canopy. Make sure they water goes deep.. preferably all the way to the bottom. Roots physically turn toward greater moisture. you don't want the top being wetter than the interior. wait for enough dryback and repeat... slowly increasing diameter and making sure moisture goes all the way down.. alittle runoff is fine. the exact amount will vary during this process. the increment of time wil vary too.. you observe and react. you use the volume of water necessary to accomplish the task. again, using appropriately sized pots makes this easier too... the volume of water you use will be similar each time if you wait for the samea mount of dryback when fully saturating the pot to start. that is the proper way to water... no dry pockets, no spritzing the top soil... no incomplete watering. The increment of time between irrigations will still vary over time, but as you reach full growth that too will settle into a predicatable schedule. i guess it's possible if temps changed drastically (i.e. causes a drastic change in transpiration per day) that might impact your expected time between irrigations, but if observing and reacting, you'll automatically adjust. never try to choose the volume to give. Always accomplish the task.. in a tiny plant / large pot context this means making sure a smaller column of moisture gets all the way down to bottom and increasing diameter of where you water as it grows. don't try to choose how much water to give or use some pre-ordained incremenet of time between... the plant and environmental context dictates these things.

Where is she? Seed directly into pot? Move the pot away from direct sun, cover it with foil to preserve humidity in the soil. Don't water for days until you don't see a seedling above the soil, then remove the foil and water with dryback - put finger into soil and if you reach 2nd knuckle on your finger and without feeling the moist in the soil, then you may water again. Does your pot have a holes on the bottom for drainage?

if 'potting up' ever shocks or stalls a plant, you should just give up gardening, lol... potting up will not shock a plant unless you pull out the GI Joe Kung Fu Grip (tm) and molest the hell out of the rootball for no reason.
