Who’d remembers when grow equipment was some street lights some Mylar and orange construction fence

Man... I wish I had all those seeds I threw away smoking that smuggled in land race stuff. Even found some seeds in those Thai sticks. long ago. But I don't miss the tough times when there was nothing to buy at any price. It's those times when I started growing for myself... so I wouldn't be out again. Yeah... I remember hiding my grow room garbage and worrying if my address got in there by mistake. Even though it's legal here in Canada... I still find it hard to talk to other people about cannabis, because I had to watch my back for so long, and any slip up like the wrong person hearing could get me busted. Yeah... I don't miss those times. Even our... then... prime minster Steven Harper said 5 plants will get anyone a prison sentence... So I cut it down to growing 4 plants... I could still get a lb. out of 4 plants. Yeah those were tough times... I'm glad it's legal here now.

Mylar ? .. that was for pros Aluminum foil for experts :D

Those hps bulbs generated some heat but the light penatration was massive, still a good light to use but in cold climates preferred. No Internet to give anything out and trying to buy The growers bible ( book ) from a mate to learn... those where the days.... running those lights now cost a fortune..

You mean the time, where we harvested 4 weeks to early, because "it is a hundret percent ready"? Back then when I brought rumours back from Nepal, that they developed underwater-cannabis in Canada? The days when every single strain that was grown under artificial light was a "skunk"? Sorry, no. I cant't remember - had one or two smokes since then. 😜

ja das waren noch Zeiten, ich habe 2002 meinen ersten indoor Grow gehappt mit einer 800 Watt Lampe, wo mir ein Kollege¡e von den Stadtwerken geschenkt hat und ein selbstgebauten Schrank. das war damals eine Sorte die sich El Niño nannte... glaube sie war von von der Greenhouse Seed Company. lange ist es her...
