The leaf mass is increasing more and more. What can or should I cut off? Can I still continue with LST and guide the shoots in the "right" direction? When should I start using the flowering nutrients? Thank you all for your answers. I love this community!

Hey 👋, Your lady looks fabulous - exactly how she should look. The leaf mass looks dense from above, but it offers a lot of surface area for energy absorption in the form of light… good for the plant! If she seems a bit bushy at the bottom right now — no panic. During the stretch, the internodal distances usually get larger, which causes the fan leaves to stretch a bit away from each other. I would absolutely advise against defoliating. You would turn a currently very good plant into a mediocre one — in my opinion. Good luck with the rest 👊🖖🍀

She is so small I would let her grow. You can train the branches to grow out at this stage. When the plant is bigger and air and light penetration are an issue, then defoliate. Best of luck on your grow.

Why cut leaves off?? What for exactly?? More leaves = more energy being made = more growth = more potential. Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth = less potential. Yes, continue with LST, you can keep up with training until about the second week of flowering.........LST is your friend. Start with bloom fertilizers once there are small clumps of white pistils/hairs forming ("budlets"), do not switch to bloom too early, cannabis still needs adequate nitrogen in early flower. At the moment however, your plant is over fed with nitrogen ........cut back on the amount your are feeding. Leaves should be a healthy darkish green, not extremely green like these. Observe and react, don't just blindly follow grow charts..........not all plants are the same. Personaly, I NEVER cut leaves off, unless they have gone yellow.

The leaf mass is just right for my taste, I wouldn't remove any more for now. You can still continue with the LST, but I wouldn't overdo it (meaning don't fiddle with it daily, but rather 1 - at most 2 times a week). Since you're using organic nutrients, the switch in fertilizers doesn't need to be exact to the day, or even possible. According to the Biobizz feeding schedule (https://www.biobizz.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Nutrient-Schedule-DE-PF-2025.pdf), you should be around WK2 now. They combine their two organic fertilizers and don't switch completely from one to the other.

In my current run i took off 0 leaves, except lolipoping. Some strains had buds without a light and still nuggy, 40 -50 cm deep canopy was still penetrated or genetics was good. growdiaries.com/diaries/258963-fast-buds-gorilla-melon-grow-journal-by-asnoriu I have autos, with 250g each, in soil, organics , even transplanted in flower, but never stripped., just lolipoped. growdiaries.com/diaries/129716-grow-journal-by-asnoriu I see nothing to take off, i would reduce feeding for a week, then go to bloom..
