Quick Fixes (fast-acting nitrogen sources)
Fish emulsion (organic, gentle, but has an odor — good for a quick boost).
Blood meal (very nitrogen-rich, but slow-release; best mixed into soil ahead of time).
Urea / ammonium nitrate (synthetic, fast uptake, but easy to overdo — use carefully).
Compost teas (can provide a softer N boost plus microbes).
Medium-term Options
Worm castings (vermicompost) → mild, won’t burn, improves soil health.
Alfalfa meal → releases nitrogen more steadily, also contains growth hormones.
Soybean meal or cottonseed meal → slower organic nitrogen sources.
In Flowering (important note)
They naturally use less nitrogen during bloom, focusing more on phosphorus (P) and potassium (K).
Too much N in late flower can make buds leafy, delay maturity, and reduce resin.
But — with long sativas, you can still give them a small dose of nitrogen early–mid bloom to keep them healthy until they start packing on flowers.
Best move now:
Give a gentle, balanced source of nitrogen (like worm castings, fish emulsion, or a bloom nutrient with a little N in it). Avoid heavy veg fertilizers unless the deficiency is severe.
I hope that helped 😘
