Mushrooms sprouting from soil after adding Mycorrhizae?

Since adding mycorrhizae to my soil, I've noticed some mushrooms sprouting from my soil. The general consensus online is that this is a sign of a healthy soil system. However there is little information on this for cannabis specifically. Is this okay? Thanks!

totally fine to have mushrooms growing in the soil, most of the time they form a symbiotic relationship with the root system which means the plant can absorb more. Next time try inoculating with magic mushrooms and have even more fun check out @budofpray 's past diaries he accidentally had that happen which was quite funny at the time. same goes for moss by the way : totally fine to see moss or green growth on the top of your soil. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hi @DankOfIreland bro get rid of it, a mushroom is a fungus. Take them with hands and if they persist in being born Fungicides are among the most toxic chemicals. Here are a few alternatives: * Listerine - Mix 1 teaspoon of Listerine into 1 quart of warm water * Hydrogen Peroxide - 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water * 1/2 teaspoon baking Soda, 1/4 teaspoon cooking oil in 1 quart warm water * All of the above recipes should be mixed directly into the sprayer and applied every 10 days or until there is no evidence of fungus. * Cinnamon powder dusted directly onto damaged or cut areas prevent fungus on plants. good luck mate 👍

To me mushrooms and the myco are from the same family so if one have good conditions to grow then the 2nd too. As you already have myco I would recommend to get rid of the mushrooms as they will not work in symbiosis with your plants so they will grow using your nutz

Personally I’d get rid ASAP! Mushrooms are a type of fungus and you don’t want that around your plants.. however I’m just a noob sharing my opinion so perhaps someone with experience with it can help too. Good luck!
