Auto strains with short life cycles are they legit? Wanting a decent yield as a newb is an auto a good start? I've read some anti auto stances etc. Th

I have had great fast harvest in 8 weeks. Red poison and bloody skunk auto where done after 8 weeks as promissed by sweet seeds. Both aint XXL as you are looking for. But atleast the breeding kept the Promise :)

An XXL won't finish in 60 days. It's an xxl becauase it has a longer vege phase. is it possible an auto can finishe in 9 weeks? sure is. Would i believe a seed sold with that characteristic advertised? absolutely not. Same goes for a photoperiod claimng 7 weeks or less... at best it's some small portion of the seeds. I have a bias against autos, but it's definitely easier to learn with photoperiods. You'd be fine either way, but learning how to fertilize and train the plant with a photoperiod has more room for error, because you control when vege growth ends. if you run into a problem, you have time to fix it. Once you learn how to ride the bike, grow autos all you want. Might be a smoother learning curve.

This is possible. I believe in the deadlines indicated on the package! You do not take into account the fact = and which plant has reached the finish line in 60 days? A small -sized plant with small colors = therefore, it has matured quickly. This is theoretically possible - but it is necessary to be able to do this correctly and have extensive experience in growing. But I repeat I'm sure it is possible = just try))) Look and read more reports and you will understand why some bushes grow faster than others = this is all due to experience accelerates.

Autos are not for beginners. Autos do not offer any real advantages over what can already be achieved with photoperiod fems. If you are new to growing, stick with photo fems.......they out yield any auto, are less prone to issues and handle any small errors much, much better. In practically the same amount of time that it takes to grow a XXL auto, you can grow a much more grower friendly photo fem without any hassels and with a much better harvest result. Times quoted are mostly fantasy..........nearly all cannabis will take 6-10 weeks to flower. 60 days post germination means you have 2 week old minature plant starting to flower already.......there are no free lunches.. Yes, I am anti auto!

M fast buds blackberry auto finished in 56 days seed to harvest. Got 123g's. No where near the yield i get on my photos, but for the time really nice. My auto flowers tent to take more like 70 days. Auto flowers can have their place but 90 percent of the time photoperiods are better, and for a beginner i would recommend photos over autos any day. I am just beginning to understand them and just get kind of lucky with them. my outdoor run this year did not yield too great, about 3 oz per plant. but it was better than nothing and gave me a mid summer bumper harvest. i wouldn't buy into the SUPER XXXLLLLL label too much, or times in general, every seed even within the same strain linage is going to have some variability. if you can try growing an auto as backup perhaps or experiment alongside a regular feminized seed.

I started with autos, and did not mind it, I knew so little and it was fine. Now as I have advanced a bit as a grower, I prefer autos outdoors and Photos indoors. Mainly cuz my end of year gets cold and wet and that fucks up any photo with molds and WPM. But an auto outdoors is perfect done before any of that shit. Indoors photos are king, they can clone, take HST, control flip to flower and they come in fem like autos. Just less shit to deal with vs autos, like random plant sizes or flips to flower. Of the ppl who I have seen that grow great autos are always using a DWC or hydroponics setup. Plus if you grow at 12/12 you essentially turn a photoperiod into a autoflower and it will automatically bloom around week 4-5 when its mature.

You can't just take their description and expect the plants to be completely on schedule but there are some faster and slower phenos even in the same strains. If you want maximum yield you should go with fems if you are able to control your light intensity and cycle. You can decide how much space they should take and not send them into flower until your tent is "full". But if it is your first grow anyway you should stop worrying about your yield anyway because there are many hurds to take until you get really good results.
