Looking at diaries for Northen Lights they list strong for odour. From research online its listed repeatedly as top low odour but doesn't seem to be the case according to diaries. Does anyone have 1st hand reccomendations for a 'low odour' strain pls and a breeder Thanks

Try some Durban Poison. Mine had a mostly licorice smell. Super east plant to grow. Or a more lemony/citrus type sativa. They can be much less offensive than a big stinky afghani. The Neville's Haze i grew even my mom could tolerate and she hates the smell. That one is mostly evergreeny. That's a very hard strain to grow though and takes forever.

anecdote is imprecisce stuff... even if they do, every seed is different... and strain names may be similar between breeders but the genetics are different, so again... every seed can be different. you need a carbon filter if smell is a serious concern. there's no plant that will be no-odor in flower. Less agitation of the plant helps too.

Hit and miss, some strains of the same pack of seeds can be smelly and others not. I would email the breeder you plan on using and ask them the best low odor strains they got, could ask a few others as well and then make a decision. For me its the skunk type smell that permeates everything. the berry mango ones not so much.

Northern lights don't tend to be the strongest smelling strains from my experience, all strains smell but northern lights it's up there with the smelliest. If your growing inside using a carbon filter with your extraction then it shouldn't be that bad. I can't recall many strains smells escaping my tent with a carbon filter being used.
