How to decide when to give water only till harvest with liquid organic nutrients

Hey growers, For the ones using liquid organic nutrients (I'm running with biobizz) at what point do you decide to give water only till harvest? I imagine it's depending on ripeness? But then, which percentage of clear and cloudy should I aim for to water only? Thank you!

I agree with 0011000. I use biobizz and I have never flushed. It was my understanding that organic nutes like biobizz have no salts that need to be flushed. I have always followed the biobizz feeding schedule and maybe dropped my nutes by 50% in the last week or two depending on the health of my plants. If they look fine, I push as much bloom and topmax as I can (4ml/L) until it is time to harvest and then I give them nothing for 24 hours before the chop. i have not noticed any negative results so far. Also, like mouse suggested the pots and soil can then be re used for other plants or to enrich any flower beds or borders etc in the garden.

Depends on how much time is left (a guess) and how healthy your canopy is... the weaker it is and the more damage in it just means it can't mitigate the loss of nutrients provided. Do they bother flushing the earth outside? This isn't 'evidence' but it is common sense. IF flushing was so important, then why isn't all outdoor weed ruined because it is not flushed? Do it to be lazy, but don't do it because you think it has some profound effect on the outcome. It doesn't change mineral content of the flower material. Same levels of building blocks because the instructions to build flower are dictated by DNA sequences and not what happens to be available. Also, there is no excretion system, so that stuff that was used in the construction of flower isn't going anywhere. i wouldn't overthink it. If you want to give water only, just make sure the canopy doesn't deteriorate too fast.

ppl aim for the last 2 weeks of its life. this will be something you will have to determine based on how your plant is doing. eg pistil dry back and drinking habits. Typically the plant will start to drink/eat less and just stop growing. You also don't have to stop feeding if you don't want too. and then can reuse that soil for a house plant and it will be fortified already.
