Is it best to water as usual or should you withhold watering when you are about to harvest a plant.

i wouldn't water the day of harvest* -- but that's more about a heavy saturated pot that i have to carry around, lol.

I start to reduce as they will slow down to stop drinking so just follow her lead and don't let her dry out it will be fine..like Asnoriu said I also chop on the due watering day when at its driest point..

I chop on day when i would water them, mold prevention. But its soil and my wet/dry cycle normally takes 4-5 days.

You should water as you normally would... fully saturate, wait for appropriate dryback and repeat. don't over-think it. Just asking for root zone issues, if not.

You wouldn’t want to water as you approach harvest, you are correct. Unless you want an even slower drying time with the plant holding the water content…which could be prone to budrot down the line
