Common sense will tell you the plant goes floppy due to low water retention.. point proved.. just like you wouldn't water and then crop an hour later or that night even it doesn't make sense but each to there own. I like the last few waters to be as close to just water as possible. That just me though...

Some say it’s gets a bit of a head start on drying a curing. I don’t know that there’s any real concrete evidence of it though.
