AG salts are not always going to be transposable to cannabis nutrition in the ways that most think. The big problem with the industry is supply chain management. This is why solid salts bespoke for cannabis from like Athena costs more than getting singular inputs and making your own from Yara or Jack's. For example, it is has been known for a decade plus that Chinese low-tier AG salts are a very easy way for Chinese companies to dump things like mercury or antimony or other heavy metals and remove them from their ecosystem locally... And that isn't illegal or only a Chinese thing. AG salts, for example, have a WAY different heavy metal and other inclusions allowance when you're buying a 50k gallon tanker of nutrients for a 30,000 acre soy farm..... Cheap salts are just that, AG salts. Are there clean cheap AG salts? Yes. Are most cheap salts not clean? Yes. 9/10 solid salt companies are literally just Yara tanker's in a warehouse being sold by the lb... @00110001001001111O I think your guidance should match the manufacturer, which if you've ever discussed their offerings with their actual staff, the first step for any customer being brought into Jack's is a water quality test. Like a real one done on your tap by yourself, they won't take old or municipal or reports not from your tap. They would never just say, do X blend from us without knowing your water metrics. lol

that's an expensive grow box. Hope it was new, I would be washing it down with some strong disinfectant if it was used. Looks like liquid nutrients would be best. Tons of options out there, Tripart from Terra Aquatica is classic and many companies have copied/mimicked it, Jacks is good too.

I have to agree with bunch of numbers on this one, not talking about the brand as I don't know it, but look into pure dry nutrients, it's literally pennies for a whole grow, if you don't want to be bothered mixing your own I was always happy with Terra Aquatica or General Hydroponics it's called in the USA. Have a good one ✌️♥️

hey 👋 3 things would be interesting to know: what substrate are you planning to use? autoflowering or photoperiod seeds? And which region do you live in ; US, EU, or other?

jack's 3-2-1 better formula, better pH stability.. cheaper. Only need to buy the branded Part A 5-12-26. You can buy generic calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate (epsom salt). If you buy bulk, it's less than 4cents per gallon mixed... minimum 1/4th the cost of even the cheapest 'marijuana' branded products and upwards of 1/10th and more for the stuff that really price gouges.

For first grow stick to 1 brand so you Get to test the water without the confusion. I like the canna range and the sumo range is good. The advance nutrients is pH perfect so it takes that out of the equation, I wouldn't advice that tho the learning process has to happen at some point so might aswel be now.. Good luck
