ACE sativa growers: tips for controlling stretch (Honduras × Panama) in a 60×60? Tent is only 160 cm (~120 usable), so space is very limited. Planning light training/topping —how do you keep these in check? I have 3 seedlings but will keep only 1.

To keep it small, keep it horizontal Flip early 2–3 weeks from sprout. Don’t veg long Small pot 5–12 L to keep her from turning into a vine tower Top once at the 4th–5th node, then LST everything sideways. Anytime a branch points up bend it back down Run the plant like a flat disc not a christmas tree If needed add a low SCROG 25–30 cm and weave during stretch Keep light intensity moderate during the first 2 weeks of flower to reduce internode spacing Do that and she’ll stay around 80–110 cm and fit your tent without drama 👊👍

One can take clones and flower them shortly after they establish roots which will keep them small. Another thing you can do is give them lots of darkness through photoperiodic control, which often (not always) results in shorter internodal spacing and wider plants. One way is give them 12 hours DLI but interrupt the scotoperiod with an hour of light in the middle to keep them in vegetative growth. Alternatively, give them 14 hours DLI. But... In your case the clone hack would be better. This gives you adult plants ready to flower but more the size you decide on. With 120 cm useable space... a safe guideline would to be to flower plants no taller than 40 cm. They can easily double or triple in size when changed to flowering light schedule.

Use a scrog ~6" above rim of pot -- or as close as you can get that still allows you to easily irrigate. Don't make daily life a pain in the ass, lol. Instead of using it for support, use it to train branches horizontally until they are in a proper position to grow vertically, at that point, flip to flower. Now, all you need above the scrog is the expected height you normally get from flower stretch. any horizontal training is conserved height. You can even flip to flower while still going horizontal, and that will reduce resulting height even more. Don't over-do it or it will impact yield at some point. have a plan for you canopy. Shoot for 3-colas per sq ft. This will maximize yield and avoid overcrowding canopy, which will reduce the effort and time needed to mitigate such things. A well-managed canopy should require little to no defoliation for airflow or light penetration. Space them out as well as you can and ensure leaves fully cover light foot print -- good results will happen like clockwork after that... assuming they are healthy, of course.

Schau dir Mal meine White widow an, dort habe ich von Anfang an mit massivem LST gearbeitet und am Ende superrcropping angewendet. Und somit wurde sie nicht sehr hoch hat aber trotzdem einen sehr guten Ertrag gehabt.
