wazighelder Three regular seeds were placed directly in the medium. All three cracked within 48–72 hours. By day 4, all seedlings broke through the soil with strong curvature and healthy colour. Two seedlings still carried their seed shell, which is normal and expected to fall off naturally. Hello cuties! ^^ 💚 Environment: • Medium is 70% Plagron Promix + 30% cactus mix, watered with SPA • Bathroom germination at ~22–25°C • Now moved under the LED at ≈120 PPFD and a VPD of 0.8 kPa Very vigorous start for a tropical pure sativa hybrid. Medium is kept lightly moist, no nutrients added yet. Plants will remain in small pots until growth stabilises, then move to 3L Air-Pots. Humidity will be lowered gradually, and the LED intensity will increase over time. Why this grow: I’ve grown autos and mixed indica–sativa strains before, and this is my first true pure sativa project. I chose ACE Seeds because I wanted something more natural, clean and classic. Honduras × Panama felt like the perfect introduction into tropical sativa growing: uplifting, clear and expressive without being overwhelmingly strong. The end goal is to grow Congo, probably after this run. Congo’s reputation for a clean, clear high —no mental mist, energetic, soft and warm —fits with what I enjoy most about cannabis. The strain also carries a cultural and historical dimension that fascinates me. Everything I learn here (indoor growing, light management, stretch control, LST, VPD, nutrient timing, etc) will help me prepare for that bigger project. I’ve read Congo can be more challenging to grow, while this run is known to be much more stable thanks to the Panama F10 parent (!).

wazighelder All three Honduras × Panama seedlings were left alone for the weekend, without extra watering. Humidity in the tent stayed high enough, and when I came back all three were standing upright, healthy and fresh. Great start. ^^ No stretch issues, cotyledons open, first serrated leaves expanding nicely. So far: very uniform growth and zero signs of stress —exactly what I hoped for. Just a great result after seven days since sowing. ^^ Week 1 Summary Daily Parameters Day | Height | Environment | Light | Water | Feed Day 1 | 1 cm | 21°C / % ?RH (VPD 0.8) | 120 PPFD / ? cm | no | – Day 4 | 7 cm | 22°C / 70% RH (VPD 0.8) | 150 PPFD / 65 cm | yes | Great White / Mycorrhizae Day 5 | 8 cm | 23°C / 73% RH (VPD 0.72) | 150 PPFD / 65 cm | no | – Day 6 | 8 cm | 23°C / 74% RH (VPD 0.72) | 180 PPFD / 55 cm | no | – Day 7 | 9 cm | 23°C / 74% RH (VPD 0.73) | 180 PPFD / 55 cm | no | – Day 10 | 9 cm | 23°C / 74% RH (VPD 0.74) | 180 PPFD / 55 cm | yes | Plagron Universal Power Roots In the coming days / weeks I expect to: - Start Plagron feeding once the root system is properly established. - Increase light intensity gradually (targeting ~250+ PPFD). - Lower RH step-by-step as the seedlings get stronger. - Keep watering slow and minimal. - Transplant into 3L Air-Pots when the second or third leaf sets are fully open — safer to do later rather than sooner. - Manage the fact that I'm working in a small 60×60 tent with limited height, which will definitely be a challenge with a tropical sativa. Any ACE sativa tips are welcome —especially for managing stretch in a small tent. :)

ACE sativa growers: tips for controlling stretch (Honduras × Panama) in a 60×60? Tent is only 160 cm (~120 usable), so space is very limited. Planning light training/topping —how do you keep these in check? I have 3 seedlings but will keep only 1.

One can take clones and flower them shortly after they establish roots which will keep them small. Another thing you can do is give them lots of darkness through photoperiodic control, which often (not always) results in shorter internodal spacing and wider plants. One way is give them 12 hours DLI but interrupt the scotoperiod with an hour of light in the middle to keep them in vegetative growth. Alternatively, give them 14 hours DLI. But... In your case the clone hack would be better. This gives you adult plants ready to flower but more the size you decide on. With 120 cm useable space... a safe guideline would to be to flower plants no taller than 40 cm. They can easily double or triple in size when changed to flowering light schedule.

wazighelder All three Honduras × Panama seedlings are growing evenly so far. Compact structure, no stretch issues, healthy green color. Light is now at ~180 PPFD (18/6), VPD sitting around 0.7–0.8. Added Great White earlier and Power Roots once this week. Heater installed to stabilize temps around 24–25°C. And thanks everyone for the input, much appreciated 🙏 Since these are regular seeds and I currently have 3 plants, I’ll wait a bit before committing to a specific training strategy. I’ll likely keep things gentle for now and decide once I know which female I’m keeping. 16/12 Seedling one showed heat damage after a short temperature blast caused by the heater (peaked well above 30°C). I’m monitoring but likely considering it a loss and focusing on the two healthy plants. Heater settings adjusted to avoid further spikes. wazighelder Unfortunately one seedling didn’t make it —RIP. The remaining plants are doing fine and clearly outgrew their starter pots. It was time to transplant: both survivors moved from the small pots into 3L Air-Pots, with little bit Great White added at the root zone. Now giving them a few days to settle in before pushing light or nutrients further. **Week 3 Summary Daily Parameters** Day | Height | Environment | Light | Water | Feed Day 14 | 10 cm | 24°C / 75% RH (VPD 0.7) | 210 PPFD / 55 cm | no | – Day 15 | 11 cm | 25°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 220 PPFD / 55 cm | yes | – Day 16 | 12 cm | 25°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 240 PPFD / 55 cm | yes | Great White / Mycorrhizae Day 17 | 12 cm | 26°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 240 PPFD / 55 cm | no | – Day 18 | 12 cm | 27°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 240 PPFD / 55 cm | no | –

wazighelder Plants were recently transplanted and given some time to settle. After the first light feeding, growth picked up noticeably and both plants are now clearly in vegetative growth. A small difference is visible between the two plants (color and growth speed), which appears mostly genetic, with only very minor signs of early stress or nutrient demand. Overall, the plants look healthy, strong and stable, and seem to be responding well to the current environment. Feeling good about this stage. **Week 4 Summary Daily Parameters** Day | Height | Environment | Light | Water | Feed Day 21 | 13 cm | 26°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 250 PPFD / 55 cm | yes | Plagron Universal Power Roots, Plagron Universal Pure Enzym, Plagron Natural Alga Grow Day 22 | 14 cm | 24°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 270 PPFD / 55 cm | no | – Day 23 | 16 cm | 25°C / 70% RH (VPD –) | 350 PPFD / 63 cm | yes | – Day 26 | 20 cm | 26°C / 70% RH (VPD 1) | 360 PPFD / 63 cm | no | –

wazighelder The plants are now well established in vegetative growth and remain healthy overall. Growth has been steady, with clear genetic differences in leaf structure and vigor between the two plants. This week, some focus shifted away from the plants toward building a custom tracking setup (Excel / web-based), as existing grow tracking tools started to feel limiting. As a result, the plants received slightly less hands-on attention, but they handled it well and showed no negative reactions. Light intensity and environment remain stable, and gentle horizontal training has been started to manage height in the limited vertical space. **Week 5 Summary Daily Parameters** Day | Height | Environment | Light | Water | Feed (ml/L) | Training --- | ------ | ----------- | ----- | ----- | ----------- | -------- 32 | 26 cm | 27,0°C / — | — | yes (750 ml) | AG 1,33; ENZ 0,67; SRock 0,67 | — 33 | 28 cm | 25,6°C / 62% RH | 420 PPFD / 64 cm / 30% | no | — | LST · Whole plant · Medium 34 | 14 cm | 23,0°C / 60% RH | 380 PPFD / 57 cm / 30% | yes (100 ml) | — | LST · Main stem · Light
