yeah, if it happened in flower, you plants are on a 'timer,' so to speak. There's no getting that lost growth back before the plant ripens and dies. Doesn't mean you should stop. At this point, better to finish even if the yield is reduced a bit.
Get some Bti, and use it pre-emptively in future. If no signs of gnatts several weeks after lost pot-up, then you can stop using it, safely. New media = new risk.
mid-infestation, bti takes 2-3 weeks to clear it up. Use along with nematods in future. sticky traps can clear out adults -- adults don't cause any damage, fwiw. (beside laying more eggs.. larvae does the damage)
