Understand what's happening when you "dry".
The plant is letting go (evaporation) very slowly.
There is a little trick you can do sonlomg as you have a consistent dark place that doesn't fluctuate the temps. So long as the temps are controlled in order to control the humidity all you need to do is adjust the size of the space.
If I place fresh weed into a shoe box the RH of the shoebox will initially be ambient. (Let's say 45%rh) But as soon as the plant starts to release it water from evaporation. The RH climbs and climbs slowly creeping up.
This isn't a exact science but what you can do, and this might take a little trial and error depending on the size of the box/container. But determining the size of the hole in the shoebox will determine how high the rh will climb before air will force itself out the hole.
Use the moisture released from the plant to create a perfect environment for slow decomposition at optimal conditions 60F ,60 rh% , consistency is king. Once humidity starts to. Deviate any lower than 63%rh its time to cure.
I dunno of that made sense but it required no money to implement and produces buds almost as good as any method I've tried.
