An Idea for you. Cut off Branches and harvest every 5 days and write down what the pistols were. That way you can see what your Preference is. I cut at 10% Amber and all others cloudy.... Because when I did above, it's the one I liked the most. The 48 Hrs at this point is useless. I have flushed, and not flushed and found no difference in taste or strength, SO I stopped flushing. I do lower the EC of the feed significantly but do not flush all nutrients out till runoff is at 0 EC. Did that once, and My whole plant went limp, and buds would not compact. They were huge, just not compressed.

no, 48 hours of darkness won't do anything. "flushing" won't change how the flower was constructed in any way, the time to influence that was while it was being built/grown. At least the idea to lower temps the last week has potential to be true, but it's not something you can distinguish with your eyes or smoking it later, so i highly doubt that, too. in general, reducing light or transpiration in anyway way is pretty difficult to overcome with a net-positive effect. Talking about the 2 most important factors for growth and general biological maintenance in the plant. Save yourself the time and effort by avoiding needless sophistry. Unless there is empirical evidence to back up the claim, it's very, very unlikely to be true at this point in history. Wild anecdotal, unjustified claims are a norm not an exception. Try keeping it simple for a year or 3 and then try some of these gimmicks. Even then, your eyes and nose won't be resolved enough to recognize any difference on top of the diffiuclty of retaining specific details from your experiences with 3-6 months between outcomes.

hey 👋 beautiful plant, nice resin production 👍 Forget the 48 hours of darkness, it won’t bring her anything. One idea, if it hasn’t already been done, would be to give her a flush for a few days, after which she’ll be perfectly mature and ready to be harvested 👌

48 hrs of dark is dumb. Just lower temps to 70-72F in final week. Last 72hrs give intense light, especially UV-B light. This boosts trichome production as a protective response.

I personally think you're a couple of weeks to go, to many white pistils for my liking and not enough amber. Have you looked between the bud and not just surface? Nice looking plant!
