My plant is look much bushier now, im afraid these big leaves are covering the light on small leaves below. Any suggestions on why the plant is not growing taller? ph at 5.9, temp 22C, fresh water with nutrients 2 days ago. added 8 ml h2o2 6% for bacteria kill. LST? Topping?

Salam! 👋 Welcome to the short and thick club, Habibi! 🌳 It sounds like your plant is staying low to the ground and stacking nodes right on top of each other. A lot of new growers panic when this happens because they expect tall, lanky "weed" looking plants, but let's look at this through the lens of Modern Engineering so you can see why this is actually a massive advantage! 🛠️ 1. The Photon Pressure (Light Intensity): 💡 Plants only stretch tall for one main reason: they are searching for the sun. If your LED light is very strong or hung relatively close to the canopy, the plant is getting absolutely blasted with photons. It realizes, "I don't need to waste energy building a tall stem to reach the light; I have plenty right here!" As a result, it stays short, squat, and incredibly bushy. 2. The Genetic Blueprint: If you are growing an Indica-dominant strain (or an Autoflower with heavy Ruderalis genetics), its natural ancestry is from harsh, windy mountain regions. It is genetically programmed to grow like a tough, low-profile bush so it doesn't snap in the wind. 3. The Engineering Advantage (and Danger): ⚠️ The Good: Short, bushy plants are perfect for indoor tents. Instead of wasting energy building long, empty stems, your plant is going to turn every single one of those tight branches into a massive, solid cola. The Bad (Airflow): Because she is so dense and bushy, she is at a high risk for trapping moisture in the center (which leads to mold). The Fix: Do some targeted "tucking." Take the massive fan leaves blocking the center and tuck them down under the side branches. If the middle is completely blocked, pluck a few inward-facing leaves to open an "air chimney" straight through the center of the plant. 🌬️ Don't raise your light to force her to stretch embrace the bush! You are setting up for a very heavy yield. 🚀 Happy Growing! 💚

Why grow taller when she already has everything she needs? Running 71F daytime? Optimal photosynthesis occurs at a internal lst of 86F @ 400ppm CO2. Most plants operate around 1-2% photosynthetic efficiency, in a fully optimized indoor grow with every bell and whistle this goes up to 6-8%. Plants require a robust pool of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)—often referred to as the "molecular currency" of energy—to drive the metabolically demanding processes necessary for significant growth and increased biomass. The total daily/nightly ATP pool in a plan-- the "currency" of energy—is the ultimate indicator of how well the nine cardinal rules of plant growth are optimized in an indoor grow. ATP is produced via photosynthesis (light-dependent reactions) during the day and cellular respiration (mitochondria) at night, with an optimized environment for both maximizing the production and minimizing the waste of this energy. 71F daytime.... how low is it going at night? A vast portion of atp pool upto (90%) comes from cellular respiration that occurs predominantly at night. If your temps get low its going to greatly affect the metabolism and slow everything right down. Plant looks healthy and growing well, your job is not to grow the plant, she does the growing, your job is to facilitate the energy conversion. Want bigger plants, learn to convert the energy more efficiently. Nothing wrong though. Best of luck.

Hello, good job. I feel like part of the problem is your accounting practices. I always chalk up the first two and sometimes three weeks to the seedling/germination stage. By my count you're only 2 weeks into veg. Those things should be a monster in 2 weeks. If you're worried or just want to experiment, you could run your light cycle 24/7 during vegetation to get a little more growth in

Double check my info about microbes.Theres lots of people on here giving out bad information.Im not sure its a good place for advice.I can't stress enough, double check everything.Check it applies to your situation. One size does not fit all.

Maby it had a flash of nutes or u can always help by tucking some leaves so there is more light penetration.

Don't rush her, she's only a baby,ha.You'll have to learn to leave her alone and let her do her thing, patience bruh. You'll never kill the bacteria. You'll kill some for a day or so but you'll not kill them all and most will just return.Theyre in the air,on the leaves, theyre everywhere.Theres lots of people that have proved this, its not just my theory.Disinfecting your plants is old hat.We know a little more about microbes nowadays, not a lot but a little. You'd be better off adding some beneficial microbes. They sell "Orca" and Hydroguard is another product Iv heard good things about. Both are for DWC/AIRO.Its the good microbes eating the bad.I recomneded them to somebody else on here and they had great results after having issues with their roots in DWC and they were well happy.

As far as training/topping -- First, have a goal. when you have a goal, there are no questions. you simply do what is necesary to efficiently get there. You only need 2-4 colas per sq ft to maximize yield. figure out how many primary colas you want per plant and devise a plan to get there with the least amount of wasted resources and time. You'll find that the questions answer themselves at that point.

The 'big' leaves are doing good things. cutting them off would only slow your plant down. Unless you plant to grow a really tiny plant, those initial nodes of side branching are irrelevant. They'll be lollipopped later or produce useless larf. Light hitting them today won't change that fact... you'll just grow more lower level nodes that won't produce anything useful. A little stretch for those lower axilla to help spread things out won't hurt and probably a benefit in the long-run. You can bend the lower branch around leaf to expose it to more light once long enough. The two lowest axilla orginating at the single-blade leaves tend to be trash anyway... even if you put in the effort to ensure they grow as tall and strong as any other branch, it'll be weaker buds by comparison, in my experience. If node spacing of new growth is fine, it's growing fine.. if it's too tight, light could be slowing down vertical growth. It's not 100% clear in the pictures, but that does not look to be the case here. Foliage looks healthy and node spacing looks great from what i can discern. Some plants grow taller than others... just how it is.

I'd leave her alone for now, wait until she grows a bit taller before removing anything. To be honest it looks like most the leaves have light hitting them so they are all doing there job.

As long as light is falling on leaves be it the top or bottom leaves doesn't matter at this stage, they do look slightly weak it could be lots of reasons. I would make sure the light is close enough and the feed is spot on.. Best of luck ✌️ 💚

Hey 👋 Your Lady Looks pretty Healthy, even if she is a little behind. If you want to make her bushier, and Fear your Fan leaves covering the new Fresh grows, I would Suggest to top her… her actual stage is perfekt for topping. This would be the Perfect Timeframe in my opinion. Hope This helps 👊
