Hi For a shed automatic, height management is crucial because space is often limited and you don't want your buds to end up burned against the lamp. Since you are at the beginning of growth, this is the best time to act. Here are the most effective techniques for keeping your plants small and stocky: 1. LST (Low Stress Training) - The royal method This is the #1 technique for automatics because it does not stop growth. The principle: As soon as your plant has 3 or 4 layers of leaves, delicately bend the main stem horizontally and tie it with plasticized gardening wire. The effect: It breaks apical dominance. The plant sends the energy to the side branches which will rise to the same height, creating a flat canopy instead of a Christmas tree. 2. Light Management Avoid “Stewing”: If your lamp is too far away at first, the plant will stretch desperately to reach it. Maintain sufficient light intensity so that the nodes remain close to each other. The spectrum: Uses light rich in blue during the vegetative phase, this promotes more compact plants. 3. The size of the pot If you have not yet repotted (although it is advisable to plant the autos directly in their final pot), be aware that a smaller pot (7-11L) will naturally limit the final size of the plant compared to a 20L pot. Additional advice: As I said for the other grower, if he put his culture on a site like GrowDiaries, it would be much easier for us to follow the progress. I hope this will help you have a good evening

You could use a scrog net to flatten the canopy

b4rns, take your stalker bullshit elsewhere, lol... context matters. if height is a problem, a trellis would help. As long as you don't stay under the trellis too long, it won't impact yield. It's all clearly explained had you bothered to read. nothing you suggested will make a difference relative to severe height limits. Obviously, he'd keep the light at a healthy distance that avoids stretching, lol. that was about as useless as having a 2nd asshole on your elbow. Now, are you going to chill out are do we both have to be irrational cunts?

It’s gonna be though bro, give it the maximum amount of light without running into a photoinhibition, to keep the internodes short. A maximum of oxygen in the roots zone will produce short internodes as well.

@00110001001001111O before telling people to trellis an Autoflowering… you should learn to succeed to fill up yours at first … 🙄

Trellis... train it horzontally, but not for too long... the problem with the autoflower is that you don't know how long you have before vegetative growth ceases. Maybe train it for ~6-8 primary colas and let it grow vertically at that point. If timed well, the only vertical growth you have above the trellis is filled with buds. No wasted vertical growth.
