How many clones to get

Quick question: only 3 plants for 120x80 seems too little. For SCROG, would you add 1 or 3 clones? And when is best to bring them in? I have older seeds but feel they’d be too late if I start now. Thanks for any advice 🙏

Do not add more plants at this stage. Three plants are already enough for a 120 by 80 scrog setup if you train them properly. Scrog is about filling the canopy evenly, not about having many plants. Adding clones now will create an uneven canopy because they will be smaller and slower than your current plants. This makes training more difficult and reduces efficiency. It is always best to start all plants at the same time. Instead, focus on maximizing your three plants. Let them veg longer and train them by topping and spreading the branches across the screen. Flip to flower when the screen is about seventy to eighty percent full, as the stretch will fill the rest. Starting seeds now would be too late for this run, so it is better to save them for your next grow. 💚💚

2x plants each take up a space of 600 x 800, perfect

In that sized area, one photoperiod plant if grown properly, would be all that is required, even 3 autos would be more than enough.............I certainly would not even think about adding 3 more clones.

Hi Grower! What are you actually looking for? Are you planning to do a Scrog? cause IMO a scrog can be done with 1 photo. Or are you looking forward to do a SoG? (Screen of green) in that case i would even add more than 3.. than i would still add like 13 others? hehehe To a happy grow!

I’d stick with 3 plants for 120x80, especially if you’re running SCROG. You can easily fill the canopy with proper training and a bit longer veg. Adding 1 clone could help speed things up slightly, but 3 extra would just overcrowd things and make it harder to manage airflow and light penetration. Best time to bring clones in is asap so they can grow together and stay even in the net. Mixing older seeds now would probably mess with your timing and canopy height. With a good SCROG, 3 healthy plants can easily fill that space wall to wall 💪 Happy Growing Growmie🌱?💚

You wont be too late to bring the other plants in if you want to as long as they are not huge. with scrog you can always train them and cut them back if you need to. check out some of my pants i do a single plant in 4 foot square area. i tried to do 2 in a 3x3 tent and it was too crowded then i tried single plant in 3x3 and that was quick to fill so i moved up to bigger tents. All depends on how long you want to veg for. I like doing a 8-10 week veg it allows me to get a run of auto flowers in while they are vegging

W ith Scrog you can go with 1 plant on whatever space you like. Just depends on how you handle/perform/want it. I would definitely would not put in clones with their mothers. If you have too much space left just prolong the veg. If you want to keep your veg shorter I would highly recommend to pop other seeds. With clones you have rooting + repotting... then you have to adjust the height of clones and mothers .. In your case I would just make a longer veg and more tops or more intensive Scrogging. Also depends on your pot size. If you go for 3 plants just use big pots. If you want to stay with the small 1L pots I would do a SoG not a ScroG and put in as many plants as I could fit in pots. Anyway, seeds definiteley faster than clones.

Viel Erfolg!

hello my friend It all depends on your patience! 3 SCROG plants can fill 120x80 if you practice intensive trellising (LST), but it requires work. If you don't want to wait 2 months of growth, add 3 clones as soon as possible. Just make sure they are a variety with a similar stretch to your current plants, otherwise your netting will be unmanageable. so as not to have too much of a discrepancy in size." My little logistical tip: If you add clones, try to put them in pots of the same size quickly enough so that everyone is on the same level. In SCROG, consistency is your best friend. I hope this will help you have a good evening

Attacke bro👌😉
