It's missing a growth tip -- either some damage when it germinated/sprouted or simply didn't have one to start - it can happen. It will most likely grow a new one but it'll take forever and a day. If on a schedule or just don't want such a delay, sow some more seed. just for fun, leave this on a windowsill and water as needed... There's a good chance it'll eventually pop out a growth tip. In most cases, it's just better to sow more seed. In fact, it's a generally good idea to plant more than you need so you don't have delayes due to various mutations and mistakes. Though, it can be hard to justify if paying premium prices for seed.

Dial it back on the watering, your soil looks very damp - adding perlite doesn't do much if you drench your soil. Sometimes a seed might take a while to get going (see: growdiaries.com/diaries/291478-grow-journal-by-dutchbarnacle) , but I'd suggest you start germinating the next in line. Use this grow as experiment and just monitor it but focus your efforts on something that does want to grow. What method did you use for germination?

If the true leaves haven't appeared after 7 days like organoman says it could be a dud seed, I have had a couple that have done that so I just start again.

If there are no leaves coming from the centre within 24 hours of the cotyledons opening, there will never be any...........not all seeds make it, there are duds once in a while..............it happens. Especially if nothing has started growing after 7 days, it is not going to happen...............stop waiting, there is no need to be patient..........plant more seeds! 7 days is very unusual, it is not focusing on "building a root system" nor is it a result of watering habits or acidic soil.......it is just a dud.

Trop D'eau. et peut-être trop acide. Je reconnais la teinte jaunâtre, maladive des feuilles. Je viens d'avoir le problème.

Peace Zebec! Don't worry too much just yet, as those first two round leaves you see are the cotyledons, and they are actually the "starting leaves" that provide energy for the plant to develop its first set of true serrated leaves. Seven days from planting isn't unusual, especially if the seedling is focusing on building a solid root system underground first. Make sure you aren't overwatering, as the soil looks a bit damp and young roots need oxygen to breathe and grow. Just keep your light at a good distance so it doesn't stretch too much and stay patient, you should see that first real set of leaves popping out from the center any day now. Happy Growing Growmie🌱
