Hermie or female calyxes? (12 days 12/12)

12 days post-flip. I have white pistils, but these node clusters look suspicious. Are these just young female calyxes or early male pollen sacs forming? Photos attached. Thanks!😇

you should only have "V" shaped or single hairs at the bracts, no balls. Look at my diary Auto Maui week 6 of flower, if you zoom in on the first pic you can see at the bottom right what I'm talking about. I've never though to take pics to show just this but I will this grow because this question always comes up.

I have seen more male plants over the last 40 years of growing than most of you have had hot dinners..........those are NOT female pre-flowers. P.S. - Some male plants can be just as bushy and just as sticky early on as female plants...........determining sex by "stickiness" is pure fantasy.

Good morning... I have serious doubts if it will be hermaphrodite... I think you should wait a few more days to see the evolution, as they might just be female flowers that are more swollen... from my experience, hermaphrodites result from stress, and the female and male flowers are usually separate... if it is male, you can always remove the male flowers before they open...

looks like a hermie. like organo said, preflower calyxes form 1 per branch. More than one nub is concerning. A couple look to have the segmented envelope - you can see where it will split open in future. if unsure, take one off, slice it open with a razor blade and look inside.. 2 neatly packed white hairs or a row of nanners is easy to distinguish. a trichome scope will be sufficient magnification.

Umm............sorry to say, but yes, those ARE male flowers forming........... So yes, you have a hermie. They are the wrong shape for female calyxes for a start and for the life of me, I can't see any pistils from those pre-flowers at the pictured node sites. Unfortunately, some people giving advice lack experience. Female pre-flowers appear as single calyxes............male pre-flowers appear in clusters...........you have clusters........it's a no-brainer.

Hey growmie! Don't worry, those are 100% swollen female calyxes (bracts), not pollen sacs. You can clearly see the white pistils coming out of them. She's a healthy girl, keep doing what you're doing! 🌱👍
